Don't Be Without It | Posted July-09-2009
Is there a better analogy of a diamond within the rough than this band? Through the rough that is Aaron Weiss's vocal style comes the diamond that is "Catch for Us the Foxes." Inspiring beauty track after track is a task most bands are not up to but one that mewithoutYou will never fail to deliver. The catchiest guitar rythyms are laid over Weiss's vocals (which I have come to love as a much needed component of the band's chemistry) to draw in even the most sceptical listener. Hate it if you dare but love it because you can. You can hardly avoid loving January 1979, Tie Me Up! Untie Me!, Disaster Tourism, The Soviet, and (if you enjoy Weiss's vocals) Four Word Letter (Pt. 2).

What could be better than a new Underoath CD? A new The Almost CD. How anyone can not find something to love on this album is beyond me. Aaron explores different styles on nearly every track. Aaron Sprinkle has become the best producer of all time in Tooth and Nail and this is no exception to his list of accomplishments.

Rock With a Capital R. | Posted August-17-2008
Capital Lights brings an amazingly energetic sound to it with well thought out lyrics. After hearing the songs, I would not be able to guess what some of the lyrics actually were. There is no denying the talent behind this band. Bursting with energy and skill enough to dominate the Tooth and Nail limelight for a while. It's easy to enjoy atleast two songs of this Cd. My personal favorites would be "Out of Control," "Outrage," "Return," and "Worth as Much as a Counterfeit Dollar."

I loved this cd at it's darkest. | Posted August-17-2008
I would like to start off by saying that I am no fan of most of Solid State's talent but As Cities Burn has proven to be a real exception. They provide brilliantly thoughtful lyrics with amazing tunes and guitars behind them. The lead singer can be tough to understand at times but it does little to take away from the talent of this band.

Special K | Posted August-16-2008
The boys are back! With 26 songs it is impossible to not find 5 to absolutely love. Relient K adds more of there fun and somewhat goofy songs of Two Lefts Don't Make a Right as well as the serious impact of Five Score and Seven Years Ago. It is worth buying at the price that you can find it.

Same old new style | Posted August-16-2008
They seem to lose some of the more fun songs in this album but keep all of the fun and talent behind the rest. It would be impossible to pick a best song from this album. Relint K just did it so well.

What's to Come | Posted August-16-2008
This album is surely a look into what to expect out of future Falling Up albums, A more Pop-ish kinda beat than past albums but also many much more catchy tunes such as "Goodnight Gravity," "Good Morning Planetarium," and "Maps." Keep your eyes and ears open to this CD to catch all of the gems and be prepared for what's in store for these guys.

Something New | Posted August-13-2008
After Edmund provides a different style for every track. With a few instrumentals like "Go Oboe, Go!" they show the are talented on classical instruments as well. While "Thank God" shows they have an hear for techno like music. "Clouds" and " Fighting for Your Heart" are definitely the standout tracks but the rest are in close competition.
