The Fear of God was an excellent Showbread album. Possibly my favorite. The lyrics were amazing (but that is normal) and I loved how Josh Dies and crew had added a bit of a punk feel to everything. My favorite song of the record was probably Let There Be Raw, a fist-raising anthem full of crunchy guitars and just pure awesomeness. I would HIGHLY recommend buying this album. Now. Go do it!
Crazy Love is a Must-Read! | Posted September-16-2009
"God is love. Have you ever wondered if we're missing it?" So begins the back-cover of the book. Chan takes the first few chapters to make us realize that we are indeed "missing it"! Our view of God is narrow and small. As the book unfolds, Chan shows us (complete with directions to view videos on his website) how amazing God is and how small we are in comparison. This book is for you if something deep inside of you longs to break free from the status quo. This book is for you if you are hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with radical solutions.
Green Definitely Meets Expectations! | Posted September-16-2009
When I read Green, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as the rest of the Circle books. This was simply because Ted Dekker's writing style had seemed to change, and I personally was more of a fan of his older stuff. I was absolutely blown away! It was amazingly well-written and the plot was absolutely mind-boggling. I normally speed-read, but this time I slowed down and really had to pay attention to understand what was going on. I LOVED this book! Go read it!
