Have you ever felt God nudging you toward something more, possibly something way outside of your comfort zone? For Mikey Adebayo, that divine nudge during a ministry trip to his hometown (Birmingham) to minister at a church event also led to this song, “I Must Go (The Apostolic Song).”

Inspired by Acts 1:8, Mikey wrote this song as a prayerful response to God’s call. It's not the kind of response that is asking you to listen... It's the kind of response that invites you to move and go where God sends you. That entire weekend, Mikey began to mull over the words “I must go, I must follow, I must serve my Lord, where he leads, Oh I will follow Him to the greatest ends of the earth.”

It's easy to have an opinion when someone else receives such a calling, but what do you do when God is calling you? What will our response be? Will it be: "Lord, I will follow you // To the greatest ends of the earth"?

As I ponder on the words of the chorus, I shamefully admit that I added conditions after these lines: "You have rescued my life // I have seen your light // Where you lead //

Lord, I will follow you..."
and in my heart I added "but please Lord, not to the uttermost parts of the earth!" Then I remembered how the gifts of the Spirit work.

So what is the takeaway here? God knows us better than we know ourselves. Am I prepared to follow where He leads me? Unconditionally! The core message isn't about being called to a place; it is about being called to a posture. A posture of surrender. A posture of readiness, readiness to serve how and where God wants me. It's about putting the gifts of the Spirit that God has blessed us with into action, right where God wants them.

The beauty is that our journey of obedience is never one that we take alone. Part of our journey is asking ourselves if we are ready to embrace our purpose... God's purpose with us, a purpose for which He prepared a way? May this song be the prayer that sends you out to find your “uttermost parts of the earth”, what or wherever that may be, and then take that next step in faith. You were made for more than comfort. You were made to go. Listen to His call. Then go.

What does it sound like when God sings? | Posted November-03-2025
What does it sound like when God sings? Roma Waterman’s new album, When God Sings, is an exploration of that mystery — a sonic pilgrimage that invites the listener to hear heaven’s melody echo through the heart. Each track is both prayer and prophecy: songs birthed in the secret place and captured in live moments of worship where the boundary between earth and eternity grows thin. Blending cinematic piano, ethereal vocals, and ambient soundscapes, When God Sings traces the journey of the worshipper who first sings a prayer to God — and then begins to hear Him sing back. The result is an atmosphere that feels both intimate and expansive, contemplative yet charged with divine presence. Roma Waterman is an Australian worship leader, songwriter, and teacher whose ministry spans more than three decades. Known for merging prophetic expression with theological depth, she has trained worship teams and songwriters around the world and founded creative, prophetic communities devoted to helping believers encounter God through artistry and stillness and theology. Her music carries the same heartbeat as her teaching: to make space for people to be transformed by the presence of God. Roma has spent decades shaping the sound of worship and creativity in her life. In recent decades this has been in the quiet, tucked away in her prayer room. In her past, she has been a session vocalist for various TV shows, and a vocal coach for artists on The X Factor and Australian Idol, and she also founded the renowned Melbourne Gospel Choir. Her songs and books have received multiple awards, and through her online communities and podcast, she has taught thousands around the world how to hear God’s voice and engage deeply with Scripture. In a noisy world, Roma’s music calls us back to the quiet — to the place where heaven’s song can be heard again. It is worship as dialogue, sound as sanctuary, and a tender reminder that before we ever sang to Him, He was, and is, already singing over us.

Stevie Hulgraine's debut single | Posted August-04-2025
Emerging Irish Christian artist Stevie Hulgraine proudly presents his debut single, "House of God," a song that is based entirely in scripture. This song marks Hulgraine’s entrance into the Christian music scene. The song describes his journey of faith and salvation.

The inspiration for this song came during prayer. Hulgraine was led to create a song based on the Word of God, starting with Genesis 28:17. “A word was passed on to me during prayer that I should write a song purely based on scripture and start it with Genesis 28:17,” Hulgraine shares. “When I opened the Bible, I saw the words, ‘This is the house of God and this is the gate of heaven.’ I prayed some more, and the Lord proceeded to reveal the lyrics to this song to me through scripture, praise God.”

"House of God" is Hulgraine testament about his newfound faith and his commitment to share the gospel through music. The lyrics are based on scripture and delivered with passion, inviting us to connect with God and reflect on His promises for us.

Come and join Stevie Hulgraine on his musical and spiritual journey.

I’m proud that I did what God told me to do | Posted July-30-2025
This inspiring first album features a collection of Ford’s original songs, including Jesus Poured His Love Down, I’m Gonna Sail Away, God’s Everlasting Lasting, I Know I’ve Been Blessed, and more. Ford’s songs carry powerful messages of spiritual awakening and divine love — many of which came to him in dreams.

“I never had a thought in my mind about creating music, but this is a calling from God,” says Ford. Speaking about Jesus Poured His Love Down, he adds, “This song came to me during a dream where I was sitting in my church, listening to the choir sing. When I woke up, I quickly recorded the initial lyrics I remembered, and the rest unfolded from there.”

Recently released as a single, Jesus Poured His Love Down captures the sudden feeling of overwhelming love Ford felt from God. “This song is about that powerful moment when Jesus poured His love down on me. It’s a feeling I want others to experience too,” he shares. The track’s spirit is uplifting and hopeful, meant to inspire listeners and remind them of God’s endless care. Ford hopes that through every song on Anthems of Hope, listeners will be encouraged and moved to live for Jesus.

For Ford, this release marks both a personal and spiritual breakthrough. Despite having no prior experience with music production or songwriting, he chose to follow God’s calling — overcoming self-doubt and navigating an entirely new creative path. As he stepped out in faith, Ford found collaborators who helped bring his vision to life, including Calvin Ivy, whose voice is featured on several tracks. He also worked with producer Warren Gilmore and Rick Turcotte of Flatlander Sound Studios to shape the album’s soulful sound.

When creating Anthems of Hope, Ford drew inspiration from Gospel legends like Sam Cooke and the Soul Stirrers.

“I’m proud that I did what God told me to do,” Ford says. “This is my first time creating music, and it sounds great. I’m excited to share it with the world.”

A Journey from Pain to Purpose | Posted July-08-2025
“You Came And Found Me” by Recovered Crown is about the healing God brought after having been trapped in a cycle of deeply hurtful relationships for years, and the strength she found to truly step into her calling. She experienced harmful relationships as a child and as an adult, and reached a point where she was completly exhausted. “I didn’t know how much of myself I had lost trying to survive,” she shares. “But even in the darkest moments, God never stopped pursuing me.”

The song reflects the change God brought into her life: “In a desperate state, in a broken place // You came and found me.” It’s not only a song for anyone who has been in similar situations, but for anyone who feels abandoned or even voiceless. There is always hope, “You’re all that I need and so much more.” It's God who truly heals and He is always within your reach, no matter how bad the situation looks: “Hallelujah, I am restored in your presence // Hallelujah, I come alive in you Jesus.”

This song also has a message for those who are currently in a good place... look around you. Let God guide you to those who are in a bad place and point them to God. He is there, He has already found you, He wants to be part your life... all it takes is to open your heart and invite Him in. That is the truth that we may share.

Co-written with Erskin Anavitarte, Rachel Barrentine, and Steffin Pasakarnis, and produced by Stephen Leiweke, the song brings hope to everyone that feels lost or broken. May this song remind you that His unwavering love is always within your reach.

Touching the hearts of all who hunger for more of God | Posted June-04-2025

There are times in life when words fall short, when language isn't able to capture the depths of our cry for God. “Tongues of Fire” was created in one of those moments.

Vel Colins found himself in the quiet of his prayer room during a season of intense spiritual hunger. He had been seeking God, not just His blessings, but His presence. Surrounded by silence, he whispered a simple prayer: “Lord, fill me afresh.” What followed was more than inspiration; it was impartation.

As he worshiped, he felt a rush of divine energy, like wind and flame colliding in the spirit. Scriptures flooded his mind: “And there appeared to them tongues as of fire…” (Acts 2:3). It was as if heaven was reminding him that the power of the early Church—boldness, healing, miracles—was still available today through the Holy Spirit.

Out of that encounter came a song, “Tongues of Fire”, a cry for revival, a sound of surrender, and a call for the Spirit to fall afresh. The melody, raw and urgent, mirrors the power of Pentecost. The lyrics are not just poetic—they’re prophetic.

Vel Colins didn’t write this song to impress. He released it to ignite, to stir up gifts, awaken hearts, and usher listeners into a deeper encounter with the fire of God.

This is more than music. This is a movement.

Welcome to the sound of awakening.

Welcome to “Tongues of Fire.”

An Open Conversation with God | Posted May-19-2025
Taylor Charmayne released “yeah, yeah”, an open heart-to-heart conversation with God that is very relatable. As a secular pop artist, Taylor Charmayne was heavily sought after by record labels, high-level music executives, and producers. One day (what she calls her Damascus moment) she realized that her music wasn't in accordance with God’s direction for her life and left her secular pop career behind. Taylor found herself on a new quest, where she shares a message of healing, redemption, and salvation through Jesus Christ.

"yeah, yeah" captures a tension that most of us are quite familiar with, the struggle between doubt and trust. Taylor also reminds us that God is right by our side, even in life’s hardest moments.

Lyrics like “I don’t always believe what You promise, but you still workin’ miracles, yeah regardless” are so familiar and real. Taylor doesn’t shy away from her vulnerabilities, and nor should we, admitting her struggles to God, while hanging onto His grace: “You silence the darkness, light up my heart with truth.” And when she sings, “If I need lovin’ from above // it’s yeah yeah // I hit Your line You pick it up // it’s yeah yeah // when I reach out to feel your touch // it’s yeah yeah” we realize that this is His promise in action, and His promise also applies to you!

Joined by Jaicko Lawrence and Mike Teezy, this track beautifully combines worship and her testimony. A beautiful song for anyone that has felt (or feels) torn between faith and fear. May this song meet you where you are and help you to lift your eyes to God. His promises are for you!

Finding Hope When Answers Are Silent | Posted May-07-2025
There’s something very real about waiting, maybe even challenging, especially when it seems to us that God has gone quiet. In this EP "The Waiting" Olly Kiff jumps right into that tension by sharing a very personal journey of struggling with doubt, uncertainty, and ultimately surrendering to God. Sure, this EP is loaded with great music, but the biggest takeaway from this EP is that fact that each of us can all find beauty in the messiness of faith. The six songs on the EP will help you to see this beauty.

The EP kicks off with the song "My God Says". Olly starts the song with his struggle: “Staring at this empty page looking for a plan, God have You forsaken me?” It's a song that reflects on contrasting feelings of doubt and faith, where we are questioning God's presence and at the same time find reassurance in His promises. A feeling of directionlessness and a still, soft voice reminding us of past faithfulness. It’s a reminder that even if we think He is silent, it doesn't mean that He has left us.

Then comes "Trust," the realization that our salvation and glory rest in God.
He is our rock and refuge. We can pour out our heart to Him, share our darkest thoughts, and know that He will show us the way and open our eyes to the truth. Our dependence on God isn’t a weakness; it's a strength. There is no shame in calling out, “I need You, I need You Lord!”

"Even Here (In the Waiting)" continues with the theme of trust. It's about the loneliness and confusion we often feel when answers don’t come quickly. “Longing just to know You’re here with me”.
The song includes a reminder that God doesn’t abandon us, even when answers seem far away.

"I Need You" looks at our true driver for a relationship with God. Are we just moving our lips, saying the words, or do we want that intimacy, “Draw me close, let Your love encompass me.” Trust and relationships grow when we allow ourselves to be held by God.

"Always Near", the knowledge that He is always with us, even in our weakest moments. Living with trust and devotion, knowing that He brings strength, peace, and joy, and He grounds our lives in His love.

The lyrics in the song "Rest" acknowledge our tendency to try going through life on our own and ask, "Teach me to hear Your voice speak through the noise // Teach me to trust Your hand through it all."
It is through surrender and waiting for His timing that we will find freedom: “If You say wait, I’ll wait… right here in Your arms I’ll just rest.”

This EP is a beautiful roadmap for anyone that struggles with the waiting. Go ahead and give it a listen. May these songs carry your heart closer to Him.

A Dancefloor Track of Eternal Faith | Posted April-24-2025
"Age After Age" by k4g3 is a thought provoking CEDM track, declaring the spiritual fruits listed in Galatians 5:22-23 packaged in electronic beats. Born from k4g3 journey through personal setbacks and creative challenges, this song is a new milestone in his CEDM journey. “I’m beyond the two years ,” k4g3 shares, hinting that he has already survived the music scene’s notorious “two-year rule.” Most new EDM artists quit within two years. But this track isn’t about fleeting trends—it’s about something timeless: “He’s the King of Kings, Age After Age.” This is what k4g3 places before everything.

The lyrics echo the spiritual fruits—“Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness”—each trait celebrated as enduring qualities that we see across the generations. These fruits are reminders of God’s unchanging nature. The repeated chant of “Yeshua!” places Jesus at the center of the track, and celebrating His eternal reign.

What makes this track special is its blend of electronic energy with profound truths for EDM lovers to hear, emphasizing that God's grace is meant for all. His grace extends across generations, “Age After Age”, inviting you to reflect on His grace, even while you're soaking up the vibes.

If you enjoy CEDM vibes with a deep meaning, then this one’s for you. May it remind you how His presence is a constant, age after age, and no matter what you're going through in your life.
