Best Album From An Indie Artist.....Ever! | Posted October-04-2007
I was SO impressed wtih this album. It's an album of 10 wonderful tracks with no filler. Each track is unique in its own way and each track has its own catchy melody, no boring stuff here! My favorites are definitely "Reach", "New Normal", and "Where I Belong." Also, there is a bonus cd that comes with it. It includes 20 total tracks, the first 11 being story-behind-the-song segments by Jill, which give insight on why she wrote the songs. It also has a comical interview with Jill and her husband, titled "The Multiple Presonalities", which Jill does some great impersonations of Shakira, Britney Spears, and Aaron Neville, as well as some of her own. Then, we get a promo from Brian (Jill's husband) for his Daily Audio Bible podcast. We also get a sampler from 3 other artists on the Whiplash label. The real treat, though, is 4 bonus tracks from Jill, which are: Reach (Instrumental), I Wanna See Jesus (Remix), and 2 songs from her Christmas digital EP (Do You Hear What I Hear, O Come All Ye Faithful). It is also an enhanced cd, featuring an EPK, interview, and a music video for Reach. So much for a great (low) price! Keep up the good work Jill!
