Go Get It by Mary Mary Go Get It by Mary Mary
After listening to this album, I realized it is essentially composed of songs Mary Mary has previous released but the versions here appear to have a different mix. The first part of the album left me a...
For You From You by Dan For You From You by Dan
This release is very worshipful throughout and entirely focused on God and our response to and wonder of Him. Dan has a unique voice that is pleasant to listen to, and the lyrics for this album are very...
The Listening EP by Dan The Listening EP by Dan
A short EP of works from Dan featuring 3 songs in total with the 4th track being a radio edit. I honestly didn't feel that any of the songs on this release really grabbed me or made me want to re-listen...

Worship Box Set | Posted November-15-2011

To me this is the quintessential release of the "Worship" albums since it features both CD's and DVD. I loved these albums from beginning to end and am so glad that they were recorded and released. They are very powerful, moving and worshipful. This set is a must have!

Worship Again | Posted November-15-2011
I really loved this sequel from beginning to end. I felt instantly drawn into the music and loved the way it was recorded and the feel of the entire album. It was very worshipful and I love to play it often. The only way to top this release is to get the boxed set which fetures this album, the prequel CD "Worship" and DVD. Personally I think the boxed set is probalbly the must have set.

Devotions | Posted November-15-2011
A very unique release from MWS featuring 5 scripture readings and 5 songs. This is a hard to find album that was originally came as a bonus when purchasing the "Worship" album. I really enjoy the strong worshipful focus of this release and think it is a great CD for any that were able to get a copy. It definitely stands as a very special and different album in MWS catalog.

Any album that kicks off with a sweeping score and celtic flute is bound for greatness! This is a great instrumental album and definitely sounds like a movie soundtrack. I know I read somewhere that MWS had always wanted to write music for movies, so it seems this release was him fulfulling a long time dream. It is very well done and has a strong celtic feeling throughout...which I thought was great.

The Acoustic Set | Posted November-15-2011
A hard to find EP featuring Michael W. Smith performing some of his top songs live. Overall this feels like a promotional release that was meant to get people interested in coming to one of MWS concerts possibly. I think this could have been stronger if it was a little longer and broader in scope.

This Is Your Time | Posted November-15-2011
I didn't connect with this release as much as I did with many of MWS earlier releases. I still haven't been able to put my finger precisely on what seems to be lacking. The album has many good elements, but just wasn't something I really found myself wanting to listen to. I can't really think of a track that stood out necessarily.

Christmastime | Posted November-15-2011
It's sad how long it took me to figure out what MWS was doing on the chair in the middle of the snow and what this was supposed to signify. I enjoyed this Christmas release much more than his earlier one as the songs definitely stood out more as being Christmas related and I really liked the overall feel and style of the album. It was a good collection of songs that were new to me, mixed with old standard Christmas time tracks. Very well done.

Live The Life | Posted November-15-2011
This release definitely stands out in it's production values from other releases before it. The music sounds much fuller with more of an emphasis on the bass (which is great). The album is very well composed moving from upbeat to slower more introspective songs seamlessly. I really love this release and it's emphasis on what we are here on earth to do. An amazing collection of music!
