This album marked SCC's first shift in image and music, but still keeping to his roots and his strengths. I remember the outcry from fans on his cutting his hair--isn't that funny? This was a fun album, though.

The true breakout CD for SCC--For the Sake of the Call was powerful and showed his true heart for his music being his ministry.

I remember that I didn't buy this CD till I was already an established fan of SCC, but it has one of the greatest Christian songs of all time: "My Redeemer is Faithful and True"
