A Fresh Reflection on the Nativity Story | Posted December-04-2024
This week we're blessed with a fresh take on the nativity story with the album "whispering HOPE 5", the latest release by whispering HOPE. This album takes us on a reflective journey through the nativity story, offering us insights from the perspectives of the Israelites, Mary, Joseph, the Angels, and the Shepherds. I'll briefly introduce each of the tracks, and I encourage you to check out the lyrics to really grasp the meaning and intent of each song.
"The Coming Light" sets the tone by celebrating Jesus as the Light of the world. This song not only speaks of His arrival but also encourages us to find hope and peace through His presence, and let Him guide us throughout our lives, including our darkest moments.
"Magnify" gives us a modern take on Mary’s Magnificat. The takeaway is to celebrate God's endless mercy and faithfulness, and it encourages us to praise God's name with gratitude and in recognition of everything He has done.
The song "Chosen to Believe" looks at Joseph’s quiet strength and unwavering faith. The song reminds us how important it is to trust and obey God's call, even when we aren't able to seek the full picture, especially when we're facing uncertainties.
The "Heaven Rejoices" echoes with the angels' song of peace that we find in Luke’s gospel. It's a triumphant song that encourages us to join the heavenly celebration of Christ's birth, as well as the peace and mercy He brings to the world... to each of us.
The last song on the album is called "Go Tell the World." This is an energetic call to action, taking the shepherds’ response to the good news as an example. Its joyful, beat-driven melody reminds us to spread the story of Christ’s birth, sharing the gospel with cheer during the Christmas season and after.
Don’t miss out on whispering HOPE's fresh take on these traditional themes. The album is available for streaming on all of the major platforms. You can also sign up for their email list so you can be one of the first to get the details about their latest releases and updates!

The album's core theme is God's unwavering love, His miracles, and the hope of eternity. The songs urge you to trust His promises and embrace His presence in every part of your life.
Let's have a quick look at each song.
1. LOVED ANYWAY – This beautiful song, inspired by the Prodigal Son, speaks of God's unconditional love. Even when we sumble (or seriously mess up our lives) , His embrace is always there, offering grace and renewal.
2. MIRACLES OF JESUS – Reflecting on scriptures found in Isaiah and John, this song looks at Jesus’ miracles, and encourages us to look beyond the miracles themselves and see the greater message of God's presence.
3. MIRACLE MONEY – Based on Psalm 50:10, this song is a heartwarming reminder that God provides abundantly. The lyrics encourage us to trust in His ability to provide in ways we can't even start to imagine.
4. BY HIS STRIPES, I RISE AGAIN – Inspired by Isaiah 53:5, this song looks closely at the healing power of Jesus' sacrifice. It highlights that the start to healing and divine health is by having faith in His Word.
5. VOICE OF VICTORY – This song is about the significance of receiving a "rhema" word from God. This is God's specific Word to you, at a specific time, for a purpose. Your rhema word is the highest form of prophecy and victory in spiritual battles.
6. BUILT BY GRACE – Focusing on the biblical foundation of family, this song emphasizes the importance of building marriages and families on God's principles.
7. ETERNITY – Looking at our eternal perspective, this song encourages us to prioritize eternal values over temporary worldly concerns. It encourages us to build a mindset that looks beyond the here and now, and place our choices and actions in an eternal perspective.

Feel the Promise | Posted October-17-2024
“This Is Your Heaven”, Jim Vierra latest release featuring grammy award artist Ceron Mays, Latavius Mulzac and Madeline Statter, is a powerful gospel track. It's a song that brings together the uplifting power of gospel music with contemporary rap. The lyrics reflect the happiness and hope we all may have in Christ, knowing that God has prepared where we can be with Him one day. That's what this song is about!
The first line of the song is a strong affirmation of faith: "I believe in Your Spirit, I believe in Your love. Thank You for Your forgiveness and Your mercy from above." This is honest praise for God's boundless grace. We love the chorus, as it quickly has you singing along: "I know where I’m going because of what You’ve done. My lips sing Your praises, God’s one and only Son."
There's such a comfort in these lines—feeling like God's warm embrace. "Every tongue will proclaim that Jesus, He is the risen King," the rap verse says, driving home the message that we are never far from the promise of seeing Jesus. This is such a clear and encouraging message. Heaven is real, and He is waiting for us!
Everything about this song, every note and lyric, encourages you to look forward with joy and anticipation. It's almost as if you can hear Jesus whispering, "Welcome home, welcome home, this is your Heaven."
As Christians, we are familiar with the promise that there is a place for us in Heaven, but, let's be honest, we all need a reminder from time to time that eternal joy that awaits us. So, go ahead and give this song a listen. May this song help to fill your heart with joy that God has prepared a great place for us to be with Him one day.
A journey with faith, resisting temptations, transformation, and praise. | Posted October-16-2024
The album 'Climbing Mountains' by 'Jesus Saves' contains 15 honest and inspiring songs. The songs address five themes:
Unwavering Faith
Resisting Temptations
Personal Transformation
Confronting False Teachings
Praise
Unwavering Faith:
A big part of our faith is being able to truly trust God's plan, look to Him for direction, and be strengthened by His love.
The lyrics in the following four songs express gratitude for His blessings and acknowledge His role in overcoming the challenges we face in life. The following lyrics stand out:
Praise His Name - "Trust the Spirit, not the men, Most these men, will never understand, That His Grace is there for everyone"
If You Give Your Pride - "If you give up your pride, You’ll see the reason why, He sacrificed His Son, For us to have eternal life"
Better Days - "Oh Lord, give me words to speak, In the time of need, When they question me"
Eternal Life - "God gave us the Spirit, So we could see, The world He created, For you and me"
Resisting Temptations:
Three songs contrast the peace that we find in faith with the emptiness that comes from pursuing our worldly desires. Our focus is on resisting temptation and choosing to follow a righteous path. The following lyrics stand out:
I Don't Want Your Fruit - "Would you know when it’s enough? Or do you plan to spend your life, Chasing after broken dreams, Wasting time, again, it seems"
To The Mountains, Through The Snow - "The world in distress oh the world in distress, The world in distress do you see it by now?, Away from this mess oh away from this mess, Come join me my brother I will show you how"
What a Beautiful Girl - "Oh, what a beautiful girl, God gave her voice, like you’ve never heard, Oh what a beautiful girl, Don’t let them drag you into their world"
Personal Transformation (change):
What happens when you fill yourself with faith and do your best to resist temptation? It's cause and effect. It leads to personal growth and spiritual awakening. A life-long journey of overcoming doubt, finding freedom in faith, and ultimately having a better understanding of God's purpose. Three songs address this theme. The following lyrics stand out:
Climbing for His Glory - uses the climbing mountains as a metaphor for overcoming challenges and striving for spiritual growth - "Climbing up all alone, This journey’s for the one, The one who gave us this world, This beautiful world, this beautiful world"
Saving Grace - reflecting on the Israelites' rebellion despite all of God's miracles - "Oh Lord would tell me what’s wrong with them, Why would they keep living as slaves, Oh Lord I am praying don’t turn away, I’m faithful in your saving grace"
Better Days - "I’ll pray that one day they can see, And maybe one day they can walk away from misery, Abandon their wicked ways, For the better days, the better days"
Freedom - "I know you want to be with me, But you have to let me go, I’ve got too many trails to walk, And mountains to climb, and mountains to climb…"
Now That My Eyes Can See - "But now that my eyes can see, That that’s how I used to be (Oh yea, I was), Until my flesh has finally found, His love has always been around" (This song also contributes to the next theme.)
Confronting False Teachings:
It can be quite a challenge to separate truth from flawed teachings. Some teachings can be flawed, dispite the honest intent of the person sharing these teachings. We constantly need to be aware that flaws, or even outright lies, sneek into our minds and hearts. These songs challenge prevailing societal narratives, particularly regarding the theory of evolution. The lyrics promote staying close to the source of trues a creationist and criticise the perceived indoctrination by "liars" who spread falsehoods. Three songs address this theme. The following lyrics stand out:
Liar, Liar… - "Liar, liar, pants on fire, Why’d you have to lie, to me?, You say we come from monkeys, but there’s a missing link, Why don’t you ever tell us, there’s one for everything?"
Now That My Eyes Can See - "I know that they told you that we are just bunch of monkeys, And we are running around somehow developing conscience"
Praise:
Once we realize everything that God has done for us, how can we not fall to our knees to express our gratitude?
Grateful to the One - expressing our gratitude for family, the ability to discern right from wrong, and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ - "I am grateful to the One, For the daughter for the son, Blessings given me, I did not see, And now I see"
We encourage you to listen to this album. May its message of faith, hope, and personal transformation encourage you as you climb your mountains, filling you with unwaivering confidence that God has got your back.

Trusting God’s timing and sufficiency | Posted October-10-2024
The album "Divine Assurance" by Karl Wise (Faith|Crest) is all about placing unwavering trust in God’s timing and sufficiency, afirming that all things are made beautiful in His time, and that Jesus is really more than enough for all of our needs.
The album consists of 8 songs, reflecting a journey that Karl (and many others) go through. A journey that often starts with questioning the very essence of hope & life, trusting God's perfect timing, embracing whatever comes our way with Christ by our side, and seeing how everything finally falls into place because God provides everything that we need.
Karl shares how he faced lots of challenges in life, from lost opportunities, to broken relationships, and dreams that appeared to be just out of reach. He shares, "With each setback, my spirit dimmed a little bit more, and I even started asking myself if I would ever find my way back to joy." At that point, Karl's life felt pretty grim. He prayed, putting himself out there and asking God for help. He opened up to God and asked for help, strength, and a new sense of purpose. During one of these prayerful moments, Karl felt a blanket of peace come over him. That's also when Karl realized that God had a plan, a perfect plan that unfolds in His time, a ray of hope beyond the struggles he was facing.
Each song represents a part of Karl's journey, and shares the lessons he learned and the love that he found along the way.
1. In His Time sets the stage, a declaration of faith that reminds us all that God’s timing is always perfect, even when we can’t see it.
2. Today Is Mine encourages listeners to embrace the present, to seize every moment as a gift, and to trust that God is working in our lives right now.
3. No Turning Back is a song of determination, a reminder to forget about the world and just focus on moving forward with Christ.
4. No More Delays - this is Karl's song about his decision to trust in God’s timing, losing the self-inflicted burden called impatience, and embracing the journey ahead.
5. In His Arms celebrates the protection and love we may find in God’s embrace. It's a reminder that God will never abandon us.
6. Jesus Is Enough is a song that, just like the title suggests, proclaims that Christ is always enough. He provides all we need in every situation. He is more than enough!
7. My Proverbs 31 Woman is a tribute to the incredible woman in his life, celebrating her strength, wisdom, and the joy as they waiting together for God's perfect plan and timing.
8. Faithful God wraps up this part of the journey with a powerful affirmation of God’s unwavering love and faithfulness, and gives us another reminder that He is always by our side, and ready to guide us through every storm (if you let Him take the lead).
So, go ahead, give "Divine Assurance" a listen. I trust that you will agree that the songs on this album are both relatable and a pleasure to listen to.
A Journey to Renewal with "ReFormation" | Posted October-05-2024
Stephanie Staples has released her tenth studio record, and can be heard on her album "ReFormation".
The album has three distinct sections. The theme of the first section of the album is "Invitation to Return". This section has two songs that invite all who have been struggling or left the faith to revisit their understanding of truth, rebuild their foundation, and simply come back home.
"Prodigal" addresses our struggles and need for God's love. This song urges us to put aside our pride and return to His grace.
"Reconstruct" adds an extra element. It is about coming back to embrace His love and letting Him heal the wounds of the past and lead us back to faith.
The theme of the second section of the album is "Call to Awaken". This section has three songs that call Christians to wake up and remember their calling.
"Something More" is our spiritual wake-up call, an awakening, urging us to stop trying to find security and peace in worldly philosophies, but return to God and build a foundation based on faith.
"Awake, O Sleeper" is a song that encourages us to wake up, get into action, and answer His call. It's an invitation to renew our minds and hearts, see His justice and glory, and to rekindle the Spirit fire in our hearts.
"Anthem" is a song that reminds us that God is always with us, ready to heal us and lead us to victory. It inspires us to boldly declare His holiness and to rejoice in the amazing promise of His infinite goodness.
The theme of the third section of the album is "Ballads of Hope". This section has 5 songs, songs that Stephanie has written over the past 26 years. They carry a message of perseverance, encouraging all to hold on and keep the faith at all times..
"Give Me Hope" is a prayer to God for strength, just like the prayer of Hannah and Sarah. God promises that He is always with. He is with us in times of joy, and in times of weakness and loneliness. He is there when we mess up our lives and is ready to guide us back & fill us with hope.
"Holding On" emphasizes that we're not alone, even when it feels as if you're drowning in despair or disappointment. The key message is "Don't give up!"
"Naive" is about the fact that there always will be challenges and pain, a sober wake up call. This part of the song really nails it: "I will be not be naive to think the war is over // This is reality sometimes hearts must break // I will be not be naive to think the war is over // This is reality sometimes hearts must break to be set free"
"Still Waters" is a very personal song for Stephanie. A reminder of painful times. Stephanie initially intended this song as balm for her pain, and after some encouragement by others, she is sharing the song with us. The lyrics describe a journey of hanging onto faith throughout the storms, trusting God's unseen plans, and finding peace in His grace.
"Grace" is another song that emphasizes that we're cradled by our Savior's grace. It reminds us that there isn't a fall in our lives that is too deep for His mercy to heal and renew.
This is such a beautiful collection of inspiring and relatable songs. Songs that support a journey of renewal that will lead us before our Lord and Savior, where we may eagerly await two most precious words: "Welcome home!". Enjoy!
Where Music Meets Miracles | Posted September-27-2024
Abbie Werner's new song "Healing is Real" is a musical testimony of faith, struggle, and an amazing 14-year journey of healing with Jesus. Abbie's struggles started during her middle and high school years, and looking back, and on her path to recovery she walked hand in hand with Jesus. Her recovery began with a guitar lesson.
"Turn your eyes upon the Person who has won / The toughest battle’s done / Grab your freedom," Abbie sings, summarizing the essence of her journey. It's a call to remember that while we are still in the middle of our battles, no matter how big or small, Jesus has already claimed victory. Abbie shares how Kelsey Sharpe (her music teacher) gave her the tools and structure to express her big feelings, prayers, and questions to Jesus through music. Music with a message of hope, encouraging you to hold onto your faith, even when everything inside you wants to let go.
Healing isn't just a possibility, Abbie's song reminds you that it is a promise that you can count on it! With lines like "Don't give up yet, friend/I know it's hard when motivation's gone," Abbie reaches out to others who are going through their own struggles and shows them the way to the safe harbor that we all may find in God.
Check out "Healing is Real." In times of doubt, may this song lead you, and in times of joy, may it lift you. Enjoy!
Abbie Werner shared the following backstory:
My heart is full and deeply grateful to share that I'm releasing “If Healing Is Real,” a song that began with my inner turmoil in middle/high school and now represents the recovery journey Jesus has walked with me on for the past 14 years.
My friend, Kelsey Sharpe, was giving me guitar lessons in high school, and one day I came with this song idea. She helped me find the chords and develop the song, and in that season she taught me what a verse, chorus, and bridge were in songwriting. Without knowing it, she gave me tools and structure to express my big feelings, prayers, and questions to Jesus through art.
Even though I was still shy to sing, singing and writing were a significant step forward after having entirely stopped singing in 7th/8th grade. Music and creativity became places where I felt safe again and felt the love, comfort, and delight of God.
It’s a blessing to finally share this song as a witness to the healing Jesus has been bringing in my life over many years and the ways He has never given up on me. There were many times when I wanted to give up, but You, Lord, nourished me with exactly what I needed and held my hand. And I know that’s how I’ll continue depending on You, through the good and hard things.
=== Press Release ===
Nashville, TN – Abbie Werner, the singer-songwriter known for her heartfelt and introspective music, just released her latest single, “If Healing Is Real,” on September 27, 2024. This deeply personal song explores the complexities of mental health, recovery, and the unwavering hope found in faith.
“If Healing Is Real” is not just a song; it’s a testimony of Abbie’s journey through mental illness, recovery, and the transformative power of professional help intertwined with her faith in Jesus. Written during her high school years, the lyrics encapsulate her struggles with anorexia, OCD, and self-harm, alongside the profound question: “If there’s a chance you can recover and be happy, healthy, and connected, don’t you want to stick around for that?”
Accompanying the single is a music video, directed and edited by Abbie as part of her master’s capstone project at Asbury University, with Sarah Hogencamp advising. The video features dancer Millie Rockman, whose movement beautifully illustrates the themes of vulnerability and resilience woven throughout the song. “I had been dreaming about collaborating with dancers for years,” Abbie shares. “Working with Millie was a beautiful experience that in itself brought a lot of healing and inspiration.”
In the song, Abbie reflects on the nonlinear path of healing, emphasizing that while the journey can be filled with setbacks, there is hope and joy to be found. “Hopelessness is a feeling, not a truth,” she states, dedicating this release to anyone who has faced deep despair. “You’re not as alone as you think. Things can and will get better.”
As September marks Suicide Prevention Month, Abbie is especially eager to share her story. “This song is a reminder that no matter the situation, God sees and knows our pain. He weeps with us and longs for us to invite Him into the mess. In my own life, I have seen how He gives me the strength and grace I need each day, and it has been through that dependency that I have gotten to experience Jesus’ love at a deeper level,” she shares.
The single was produced by Valentin Tranca, who helped shape the sound and emotional depth of the song. “I’m grateful for his vision in bringing this piece to life,” Abbie adds.
“If Healing Is Real” encapsulates the essence of Abbie’s journey—one filled with struggles but also profound moments of grace, hope, and transformation. As she continues to navigate her mental health journey, Abbie’s music serves as a beacon of hope for others who may feel lost.
Your Soundtrack to Living in Grace | Posted September-19-2024
Natasha Cash's "Blessed" is a song of praise, looking back at life's highs and lows, realizing that she is blessed with God's unconditional love and the joy that comes from living in His light. Natasha's love for music came from her mother. She would wake Natasha and her sister up every Saturday morning to clean the house, which wasn't much fun, but that changed when her mother added music. It quickly became a family tradition, and has become her love, her therapy, and her passion, expressing her gratitude and acknowledgment of being blessed. Natasha shares: "I have loved music, singing, acting, and performing since I was a little girl. I grew up in a family filled with love, support, and appreciation for entertainment, but most importantly faith in God."
She continues: "The lyrics in this song were inspired by my desire to express my heart in a way that people from all walks of life could relate to. No matter what's going on in the world, we still have so many things to be thankful for, and we are truly blessed."
Natasha sings: "Ain't no mountain too high, No valley too low," reminding us that everything can be overcome with faith. The song is filled with positive affirmations, golden nuggets of personal experience that echo the strength that you too will receive through faith, and the assurance of God's presence.
"You're the reason why I wear this smile," is a gentle reminder to open your eyes to the numerous blessings that God is pouring over us, often unnoticed. Natasha's sincere voice makes the song a relatable invitation to celebrate each of your blessings, letting it reinforce your faith and grow your hunger for all that God still has in store for you.
May Natasha Cash's "Blessed" fuel a fire of faith in your heart and remind you that no matter what life throws at you, you're always under God's grace, living blessed.
whispering HOPE³ - The Eight Elements of Faith and Spiritual Growth | Posted September-04-2024
whispering HOPE³ is a project that has been in the works for quite some time, and is their way of sharing God's light with the world. This album is dropping on September 6, 2024! September 6th holds special significance for the team—it marks a new season, a time of new beginnings and breakthroughs. Hence releasing an album right when the world is ready to receive something new and life changing.
Eight songs are filled with pulsating rhythms of Afrobeat, catchy hooks of Pop, raw energy of Rock, and the soulful melodies of R&B. Songs that address eight specific elements of faith and spiritual growth.
Let's have a quick look at each of the songs:
Faith in Motion: The key message is that living faith means action. Look at how Jesus honors our faith heroes. E.g., Jesus appreciates the active faith that Matthew and Mark showed, from a man on a mat to a foreign woman. Faith changes lives.
Conquer All: Having faith in Christ empowers. Our faith gives us authority and boldness. Faith fuels courage.
Light of the Word: God's Word guides us. It's not dead, on the contrary... it is alive, discerning, and relevant for everyone. All aspects of God's Word light our path.
Canvas for the Divine: Our lives are canvases for God's purpose. We're called to be open and united, allowing His vision to shape us.
Gifts of the Spirit: A reminder of what the spiritual gifts of the Spirit are, like wisdom and healing. These gifts build the church and reflect God's love daily. Each believer has one or more gifts of the Spirit that can be used in their unique role.
Unseen, Yet Real: Our faith extends beyond the visible. Just because we can't see it, or see things happening, doesn't mean that it isn't there. We trust in eternal truths.
Unfailing Grace: God's grace changes lives. His grace is more than enough! We're given examples, such as the prodigal's return, breaking barriers with a Samaritan woman, and Paul’s transformation. God’s grace is life-changing, it's always been there, and it is there for you as well!
Clothed in Christ: Being “clothed in Christ” means growing in spiritual maturity. We move from milk to solid food, and becoming more like Christ each day.
