Very informative and insightful | Posted August-20-2009
Ever wondered what proof there was of Jesus's life, speech, and miracles? I mean, you don't need it to believe, but how are you going to convince that atheist down the street of Christ's resurrection, for instance? Lee Strobel has interviewed the foremost experts in the fields of theology, medical science, and psychology to determine the veracity of the Bible's claims about Jesus. He asks the toughest questions we have and doesn't settle for nice little rehearsed answers. Read this book if you believe or doubt.

The only songs I like... | Posted August-15-2009
are "How To Save A Life","She Is", and "Over My Head". The others were too whiny. I couldn't tell what he was saying. I had the misfortune of reserving a library copy that didn't have the booklet, but usually I can hear a lot of the words without one.

Informative and Insightful | Posted August-15-2009
Lee Strobel always presents his books in a clear, concise manner. He uses several stories and facts to illustrate his points. "God's Outrageous Claims" fights back against our tendency to disbelieve in the most fantastic claims God has made in the Bible. Yet they're all true. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about Christianity.

Heartwarming | Posted August-14-2009
One thing I liked was they filled in the blanks so you didn't have to read "A Time To Dance" first to get everything. Although I suppose that annoyed people who did read the first book. I thought the stories of healing were simply amazing. Everybody won somehow. :) Read this book!

Pretty good song | Posted August-14-2009
I enjoyed this song because of its urgency. "Now" not sometime in the future. The male and female vocals play off each other well. Skillet is a cool band.

Surprise ending! | Posted August-12-2009
I was blown away by the ending. No matter who you think did it, you will be shocked!!! Story involves a psychic, a fertility doctor, and a mayoral race. A very good read.

Exciting | Posted August-12-2009
The difference between this and the 1st book was that thanks to a main character being kidnapped, we had a little dramatic irony going; readers knew something Blair and Morgan didn't about who took Cade. But the identity of one of the criminals was surprising. Also loved that Blair finally surrendered to Jesus after years of unbelief.

Stellar | Posted August-12-2009
This was a great beginning for the Cape Refuge series. It pulled me in from the start. I never would have guessed who killed Thelma and Wayne. Morgan, Blair and Cade are all compelling characters.

Not as good as others | Posted August-12-2009
I kinda sped through this. It wasn't very good. A little predictable except for who was still alive. Liked the romance parts though. Killed time but not boredom.

I really liked this album. It was the first review I wrote for CMR but the 3rd to be posted. Really glad he wrote for this album this time. The first single "You're Not Shaken" is great.
