A mix of different genres | Posted September-09-2009
Crash has hard rock, soft rock, and even a worshipful song. It's amazing how versatile this CD is. I liked "Fading" (radio didn't spoil it for me) "Best I Can" and "Forever With You" the best. A great CD! (got it free from Air-1 Insider points)

Tearjerker | Posted September-01-2009
This book made me cry near the end. Ashley and Landon's little girl's death scene was so sad. I really wished that Sarah would've lived. The tragedy did bring out a lot of character traits that wouldn't have come out otherwise. I couldn't believe Brooke would think abortion is okay when the baby is going to die soon after birth. I'm so glad she took the pictures so she could see firsthand the value of ANY human life, however small and brief.

How to hide a wedding | Posted September-01-2009
I kept on thinking, "they're not gonna hide this. the papparazzi will spoil it" but the wedding of Katy and Dayne goes off without a "hitch", pardon my pun. Cody gets into trouble drinking and John finds the stirrings of love again! :)

So close | Posted September-01-2009
Just when they'd found him, Dayne gets into an accident and winds up in a coma. Really shows faith and reliance on God in a great book. Everyone prays.

Great installment | Posted September-01-2009
Katy and Dayne have to face scrutiny as they testify against the crazed fan of his who almost killed her. Lots of dramatic irony in that we know who Dayne is but Ashley doesn't. Lovely story.

Miracle! | Posted September-01-2009
This is the one where Dayne gives his life to Christ, and it involves a small miracle. I kinda figured it out already but still cried, it was so beautiful. So glad for these stories!

Sweet | Posted September-01-2009
I love these books because they're so sweet, honest, sincere, and romantic. Continues where the Redemption series left off, though you don't have to read it to enjoy this book.

Way too predictable | Posted August-24-2009
I read this book all the way through, but it was completely predictable. It has the start of an idea, but let's just say that as far as dialogue and plot goes, it reads like a typical Christian movie.

Awesome collection | Posted August-24-2009
If you have absolutely no Hillsong CDs, start with this one. The songs are beautiful and range from alive and fast to slow and meditative. I love "Hosanna" and "Mighty To Save"!

How does he do it??? | Posted August-22-2009
Strobel always seems to find the exact right people to interview for these books. They answer questions about pain, grief, doubt, Bible history, hell, evolution and miracles. The Case For Faith seeks to squelch obejections to faith in God by explaining errors in interpretation of Scriptures and human thought. A good read.
