My bible fell open to the Psalms, I could not believe what I read
How could God want to honor me--take care of me? Help me understand
Yeah He said that He would save us (Can you believe it's true)
And fight for me and you (But look at what he did)
Yeah, He said that He would rescue (I can read it too)
You should believe it's true (Oh, I want to believe)
When I read all His promises...I think He must be out of His head
Or it's just that He loves me...and I got the best end of the deal
Why don't we go with "He loves me"? Yeah, He loves me, yeah He loves me
