Engaged in a battle, but not against flesh and blood.
Arrayed in the armor, of good and light and love.
To pull down the strongholds of which we are speaking of.
The strongholds of Satan, we rise up above the floods.

Hear the sound, like the walls of Jericho,

Though many among us are weak and weary souls.
Yet God has the answer, just let Him take control.
In His perfect timing we'll pull every fortress down,
He goes on before us, it's He that will wear the crown.
The sword of the Spirit is like the cutting edge,
Those who will bear it for those who are true to this pledge,
No weapon will prosper, directed against His own,
The Lord is our Victor, it's He that is on the throne.
