Born in the Bay Area and raised in the rural south, Tennessee rapper/songwriter nobigdyl.’s sound embodies the eclectic nature of his upbringing. A storyteller at heart, his influential lyrics are part memoir, part stream of consciousness as he wrestles through the concepts of faith, ego, love, and loss. Gliding over production ranging from hard-hitting to ethereal, Dylan employs wit and introspection as he explores what it means to be a black boy raised in the backwoods of Tennessee.
 
Dylan’s 2017 independent release Canopy hit Billboard charts and received the attention of a major label, Capitol CMG. The next year, he released SOLAR under Capitol which landed him his second top ten on iTunes hip-hop. Deciding he wanted to own his masters and creative control, Dylan parted ways with Capitol and released his latest offering titled, LOWERCASE TAPE. that was named a top 50 album of 2019 by Genius.
 
Since 2015, nobigdyl. has released eight (8) projects including a Christmas mixtape (Gift Rap). Also, he’s released nearly 20 singles and has been featured on over 50 songs in the last six years. He’s the frontrunner of the indie tribe. collective composed of Mogli the Iceberg, Jon Keith, DJ Mykael V, and himself.
