When Christian music icon David Crowder told RLH singer/songwriter that not enough christians were making electronic music, Brad got a vision for his band Red Letter Hymnal. There was a need for Christians to proclaim the gospel in this musical arena. Brad began to fill the void by writing some of the first Christian Dubstep/Edm songs. They were covers of “One Thing Remains” and “God’s Not Dead”. They quickly racked up near a million views each on YouTube. This encouraged Brad and RLH to write their first all original album, the independently released EDM album “Reach for the Sky”. After touring the following year and some band line up changes they released their 2nd album “Coastal Kids” . They also followed this album release with a coast to coast US Tour. “Coastal Kids” was a bigger swing towards Electro Pop with some Hip Hop and punk rock sprinkled on top. Four years since Brad’s vision to make electronic music for the Lord, the band released two full albums, toured all over the US, released five singles, and touched millions with their music. They did this all as an independent band who recorded all their songs with only two mics and a computer in Brad’s attic home studio.
