Sada K. has spent her life being a light of inspiration to people of all walks of life. By sharing her faith and life lessons so transparently, she’s been able to reach an audience and build a platform that transcends past the music. Her talent allows her to connect to people in an authentic way through uplifting content on her social media outlets and Living in Tune blog. Her sincere personality has given her the opportunity to not only sing, but to share her light through media working as a guest host on various shows with TBN’s JuceTV and on Dash Radio.
Since her last effort, 2015’s Long Story Short, Sada K. has dealt with some of life’s greatest joys and toughest heartaches. With the release of her new song, “Ready,” she is fully prepared to provide an anthem for those who have had to press through life’s challenges, but are determined to seek out peace and purpose.
In January 2018, Sada K. signed with Reflection Music Group's (RMG) subdivision, RMG Amplify.
After touring all over the country with Press Play, the hit-making Dream Records/Universal Music Group Christian pop band, Sada K. was devastated by a serious, career-threatening knee injury in June 2011. She had to face the harsh realities of two knee surgeries, months of physical therapy and the grueling task of having to learn how to walk all over again. She had to deal with the embarrassment of going from living on a tour bus to being pushed around in a wheelchair, being on crutches, using a walker, having a cane and wearing huge braces on her legs so that she could learn how to walk properly again and prevent developing a permanent limp.
God moved throughout this entire process and the time off allowed her to draw closer to God than ever before. During her recovery, Sada K. prayed and obeyed God’s instructions to end her season with Press Play and move forward with a solo career. Against all odds, she independently debuted and released the single, “Stand Up.” At the time of the recording, she was not able to stand to record vocals, not to mention the fact that shooting a video was virtually out of the question. As her healing manifested and she regained use of her legs, “Stand Up” became her testimony and proclamation, not just physically but spiritually.
That chapter in her life strengthened her for so much more and she has been able to stand strong through the good times and the hard times in her life. Her transparency has created an authentic connection with listeners and has set her on a path to reach people from all walks of life through both music and media.
Sada K. is on a mission to create music that guides people to hope and provokes her listeners to be encouraged and persevere, no matter what they face in life.
