Not many recording artists carry the titles "singer, rapper, songwriter & producer" and stand out in each category. That's what makes B.Reith (pronounced RYE-TH) so unique, and why so many people have fallen in love with his authentic sound.
B.Reith (born Brian Reith) grew up in Milwaukee and began singing on commercials at the age of five. His father owned a recording studio, in which Brian fell in love with the art of creating music. Singing and performing at churches and in school was the playground where he developed a passion for entertaining others by serving them with his gifts.
After moving to Nashville he was discovered by Gotee founder Toby Mac, who after hearing the demo Brian produced in his bedroom for the first time pulled his car over to the side of the road. "It's amazing when God truly gives someone a gift," says Toby. "Brian is just naturally gifted from God vocally and his lyrics, when they hit tape, they sort of just ease into your heart."
With influences ranging from Stevie Wonder to Lauryn Hill, B.Reith comes from a unique place that combines classic soul and pop with modern hip hop. "God gave me an ear to pick up things," says Brian. "My style is just an accumulation of what I've heard throughout my life, channeled through the unique talents that God has given me."
This unique skill set has opened up doors for B.Reith to perform in both the CCM and Gospel market, touring with artists ranging from Toby Mac, Reliant K and Family Force Five to Mali Music, Da T.R.U.T.H. and Jessica Reedy. "As a music fan, I come from a mixed background," says Brian. "I speak many different dialects. One of my callings is to cross cultural barriers and promote diversity. I don't have a niche. Stylistically, I just want to make good music that connects with people."
Above artistry, above accolades, Brian Reith knows where his gifts come from. It is obvious that heaven has blessed him with the tools and the talent to effect the hearts and souls of all who would hear him. He yearns share the redemptive story of hope in a Creator, a Savior and a life that extends beyond this shattered world. "My number one passion is to connect with people, to entertain them, to stir up emotion in them, and to challenge them by sharing life from a different perspective. There is something we're all yearning for. I'm just trying to help direct our attention to it, and music is the most powerful way I know how."

His practical raps and easy-to-relate-to themes are very alluring, but what is the real winning characteristic of B. Reith, in my opinion, is his stellar singing voice.
He should be listed among the great rapper/singers, like Andy Mineo and Christon Gray.
His voice is so clear and easy to listen to and he's featured on many famous artist's albums just to sing.
You will not be disappointed by any of his music.

B.Reith is such a COOL singer. His rapping isn't too shabby (lol) and his singing is so beautiful. His vocals are so silky smooth, it's wonderful to listen to. I'm glad that I discovered his music by checking out his EP. And his full-length album is pretty good. I hope that he will continue to make music that GLORIFIES God and brings people closer to GOD.

I've only heard one of his songs. I got it free on a Christian website. The song I have by B. Reith is "Mess". I don't really listen to it that much. I do love listening to it when I run though. It has a good beat to it.

I saw him for the first time in concert at Toby Mac's Winter Wonderslam in 2008 and he was amazing. I love the way he sings and his style of music. His songs are so catchy. I was singing "Go On" for about two months after the concert. He's a great artist and not to mention cute.
