TOP TEN TWEETS

#1 - Third Day's Biggest Fan
@macpowell: Listening to the new @thirdday album MIRACLE on the plane. After all these years, I'm still a huge fan! :) Let us know what You think! (November 6)

If you're half the Third Day fan that Mac Powell (who also happens to be their lead singer) is, be sure to pick up their latest, Miracle.

#2 - Keeping Your Cool
@jasongraymusic: A bat just literally dove bomb me and hit me in the head. #tryingtonotlosemycool (November 8)

Even Jason Gray's cool artist cred can be threatened by dive bombing bats.

#3 - Top Billing
@plumb_artist: 'Always' remix featured on Spotify's homepage today...woopedy whoop woop...I feel honored! (November 8)

Artist Plumb's continued surprise success in the dance community continued this week with a feature of her remixed song "Always" on music listening service Spotify.

#4 - New Arrivals
@matthammitt: Welcome to our family, Lewis! Soon you'll discover that you have 3 older siblings waiting to lovingly torture you. pic.twitter.com/L4X41t3p (November 8)

Sanctus Real lead singer Matt Hammitt and his wife, Sarah welcomed their fourth child this week. Lewis Hammitt is sure to grow up

#5 - Panic
@releasethepanic: http://youtu.be/KQjOK3e5sCU #RELEASETHEPANIC (November 9)

Rockers RED are back yet again with a crushing new single and video, "Release the Panic," which is the title track from their upcoming February release. After watching the video be sure to follow @releasethepanic on Twitter for the band's continued updates on the project.

#6 - Hardcore
@satsandsirens: Started a song last night, stopped working on it when the sun started coming up. #RocknRollWaitsForNoMan (November 10)

Satellites & Sirens is hard at work on some new material, which sometimes requires sacrifices... most importantly, sacrificing sleep.

#7 - Phenomenal Tunes
@FamilyForce5: Check out our side project with a free song download here:) http://www.ngenradio.com/phenomenon (November 10)

Family Force 5's frontman Solomon Olds (better known as Soul Glow Activatur) is starting his own radio show on NGen radio (based out of Houston, though if you're not in Texas you can listen online at www.ngenradio.com). The band produced a song to match the project, and it's up for free download.

#8 - Back in Business
@Pillarmusic: If we were to maybe play a handful of select shows in 2013 where would you like to see us crush some stages? (November 10)

Christian rock fans have been buzzing with the news of Pillar's reunion for the past week. If you'd like to see the band in your hometown, follow @pillarmusic and make your voice heard.

#9 - Voice of Command
@karijobe: Balcony door open, bird flies up to the door opening, I yell "NO"..and he flies away again. Whew--that could have been interesting. (November 10)

Kari Jobe has spent the week on some European adventures, and in the process had a near run-in with a bird. Fortunately, her voice seems to be effective for more than just powerful worship songs.

#10 - Start of the Season
@sarahmacintosh: My 1st animated video for my Christmas song "There Is A Star" is up! Watch & then get the full CD & kids app in iTunes: http://ht.ly/fbfF7  (November 10)

If you're needing some help gearing up for the fast-approaching holidays, Sarah Macintosh has got you covered. She has an animated video up from her Christmas album in addition to an app in the iTunes store.

TOP TEN PICTURES

#1 - The Afters Abroad
@joshhavens: Beautiful Amsterdam! #holland #windmill http://instagr.am/p/RyNuOFCLbg/ (November 8)

The Afters are playing some overseas shows this week, which included a jaunt through Holland... which meant the band had to be sure to rock the obligatory windmill shot.

#2 - Symphonic Rock
@TFKTrevor: Rehearsing with the orchestra..this is going to be INSANE!!! http://instagr.am/p/RzA4C0i4_Q/ (November 8)

Thousand Foot Krutch put a whole new spin on the term "symphonic rock" this week. The band played a show with an orchestra at a benefit event for the Seattle Children's Hospital.

#3 - No Shave Movember
@b_reith: Mustachify..... http://instagr.am/p/RywWAtwPaH/ (November 9)

For many men, November is known as either No Shave November (for beard growing) or Movember (for mustaches). Artist B. Reith clearly takes this very seriously.

#4 - Game Day
@bebonorman: Morning bus dart game with the @grovesroad kids...gotta love losing to a 9-yr old. http://instagr.am/p/R0Xw8rRNRI/ (November 9)

Bebo Norman's incredible skills in the songwriting arena apparently don't extent to dart throwing. Granted, a bus might not be the most ideal location for a dart showdown.

#5 - Slumber Party
@loswhit: I'm about to have a sleepover with all these people. In the sky none the less. #REDEYE pic.twitter.com/xQ89E1j8 (November 9)

Worship leader Carlos Whittaker provided another spin on late night travel, because "sleepover" sounds infinitely more fun than "red eye."

#6 - Jaws
@koreycooper: Playtime in la! http://instagr.am/p/R21G1AF79f/ (November 10)

Skillet is hard at work in the studio... most of the time.

#7 - The Fallout
@jonsteingard: Yesterday's venue had a real fallout shelter. Wild! pic.twitter.com/1bEgzjY3 (November 10)

Just in case the rock and roll show gets too intense... this venue is prepared.

#8 - One of These Things...
@jonforeman: You have music by Beyoncé - might I recommend Jon Foreman? Thanks iTunes. http://instagr.am/p/R2ohIXNny6/ (November 10)

iTunes occasionally seems to need genre help... and possibly marketing help, given that pitching music to the artist who created it might be just a little redundant.

#9 - Desperate Measures
@prophiphop: Drastic times.. Cereal with knife http://instagr.am/p/R3CyzfzQEZ/ (November 10)

Being snowed in hones artists' survival skills. Snow on the road prompted artist Propaganda to perfect his skills with a knife.

#10 - Anthem Acrobatics
@calebgrimm: Apparently @josephstamper and I were trying to fly. http://instagr.am/p/R2tjXMRGwE/ (November 10)

It seems that Anthem Lights has added acrobatics to their live show. Spectacular vocals aren't their only talent.

Mary is a Christ-follower and writer who has been telling stories for as long as she can remember. She recently earned a B.A. in Digital Writing and currently resides in Colorado Springs with a camera, guitar, and coffee cup always close at hand.
