Although the festival circuit always provides good material for Twitter anecdotes, sometimes the time off the stage provides the best stories. Catch up on the artists’ adventures as seen through the eyes of Twitter below.

DREAMS COMING TRUE
@BearRinehart3: Our bus in the UK has a chandelier. Feels like home! http://instagr.am/p/MnX0KbqYxy/ (July 3)
NEEDTOBREATHE’s stint in a tour bus in the UK would seem to confirm the theory that all things British automatically have more class.
@lecrae: My new album "Gravity". Appropriately coming this Fall. --> http://ow.ly/bIj78 (July 3)
Get it? Gravity? Fall? Nevermind. Christian hip-hop artist Lecrae will be dropping his 6th studio album this upcoming fall. Check his link above to see the official trailer.
@FamilyForce5: I rode out if a window of a 20ft monster truck. Redneck Dreams came true. #CrayButton #Durrty (July 7)
The Southern boys in Family Force 5 have been making some of their dreams come true this week--and making fans’ dreams come true in the process. Their second fan-funded, fan-acted music video was filmed this past weekend. The process included a monster truck, a mud fight and a dance party in an abandoned warehouse.
GETTING ZAPPED
@AdamCappa: High fived @CalebSchoberg on stage this morning and got shocked by my guitar strings and it split my finger open!! How does that happen?! (July 1)
Playing music can have some unexpected health hazards. Be warned: guitar strings are more dangerous than they might seem.
@mikescheuchzer: Late night festival corn dogs make for weird dreams… Mine involved skateboarding with @BarackObama… he was a surprisingly good skater (July 5)
MercyMe guitarist Mike Scheuchzer discovered that aftershow festival food has some definitely consequences.
@tylerkiros: A brief collection of cornerstone memories in photographically format, there are quite literally thousands to choose from... http://instagr.am/p/MzzoDUvNMZ/ (July 8)
Tyler Wells posted a tribute to one of the best-known and most loved Christian music festivals. This week the festival rocked Illinois and then closed its gates for the last time, marking the end of an era for the more edgy strain of Christian music.
INDEPENDENCE TUNES
@anberlin: This 4th of July we had the honor of being able to play for our troops in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. So thankful http://instagr.am/p/MtMrlQweU7/ (July 4)
Anberlin had the opportunity to spend Independence Day bringing some rock and roll to some fellow Americans far from home.
@johnny5w: Have a safer 4th of July than I had in 2009 after patriotically flying over the handlebars of my moped. pic @ethanluck pic.twitter.com/oIiRtobf (July 4)
The holiday and resulting day off provided time for all kind of activities... with varying degrees of safety. Relient K bass player John Warne celebrated once by having a moped accident (as documented by bandmate Ethan Luck).
@alyssabarlow: On a boat with the fam.. @rebeccabarlow has her Ukulele out and we are singing Yankee doodle dandy.. Happy 4th from the Barlows (July 4)
BarlowGirl and family seems to have had a much safer, more chill celebration... including what was probably one of the most chill versions of "Yankee Doodle” heard that day.
THAT AWKWARD WARDROBE
@karijobe: Remember that time I went to a wedding that was supposed to be a "black and white only"..wedding and I showed up in bright green? #awkward (July 7)
Despite being outside of the general color scheme, Twitter followers could definitely be assured that Kari Jobe was dressed with the utmost degree of class anyway.
@jameskatina: That awkward moment when you're dressed up in a 3 piece suit to visit a new church. Only to find everyone in aloha shirts & khaki shorts. (July 8)
James of The Katinas can probably find comfort in the truth that in most social situations, it’s almost always better to be overdressed than underdressed.
