It’s been a big week for Downhere-lead-singer-turned-YouTube-star Marc Martel. In addition to a performance of the Queen tribute band (which Marc leads) on American Idol, he released his first solo single. Check it out at the link above, and be watching for the full EP.

The rumors are true: Jonathan Steingard, longtime guitar shredder for Hawk Nelson, will be stepping in to fill the role of lead singer following Jason Dunn’s departure. Fans can be reassured that the job is staying in the Hawk family—and that the new lead singer will know all the words to the band’s songs.

This week Kutless announced that drummer Jeff Gilbert is moving on. Although he has not yet announced future plans, prayers would most likely be appreciated as Jeff and the band move on to their respective next steps.
