This week the Newsboys embarked on their God’s Not Dead tour, featuring Anthem Lights, Abandon, and The City Harmonic. The first week of dates features a cameo by a familiar voice; former DC Talk member Kevin Max joins fellow former bandmate Michael Tait for a few songs.

The biggest news of the week was the decision of Jason Dunn, longtime frontman of Hawk Nelson, to leave his band. Jason will keep making music with his side project Lights Go Down (who you can follow on twitter @officialLGD). Hawk hasn’t announced any official plans for what the lineup will now look like, but you can read their statement here.
