Meanwhile, two major tours kicked into high gear this week-- the fall stretches of both WinterJam and the Rock and Worship Roadshow are out on the road, and stories and pictures on Twitter keep fans in the loop.

Hillsong put out their Christmas project as a rare Sunday release. You can watch the preview at the link above and then find the album on Amazon or iTunes.
@ASILAYDYINGBAND: Thanks to all of you who picked up #DECAS. Hopefully that should tie you over while we begin writing our next full length album this winter!
@ASILAYDYINGBAND: For those concerned with us changing the sound of the band based on remixes, worry not. The new jams will be true to what we've always done. (November 9)
Hardcore band As I Lay Dying re-released
Decas, a collection of new material and remixes in honor of their ten years as a band.

SHOW ON THE ROAD
@WitnessTheRise: Welcoming committee time with @chrisaugust @ Saenger Theatre http://instagr.am/p/TlAeF/ (November 10)
David Crowder*Band’s last major tour is wrapping up this week. Mike Dodson (of DC*B) and Chris August have been serving as the steadfast welcoming committee for most of the tour, braving the elements to welcome fans to the sold-out shows.
@jonsteingard: Come to the Rock and Worship Roadshow in Charlotte tomorrow night or @BartMillard will eat this cute baby bunny! http://pic.twitter.com/13ujpylW (November 10)
The Rock and Worship Roadshow (sponsored by the one and only NewReleaseTuesday) kicked off recently. You should definitely catch a show when it hits a city near you to prevent Jon Steingard (of Hawk Nelson) from having to come up with more motivation.
@JFrankenstein: Didn't know it was possible to play keyboards in 2 different cities at 2 different shows on the same night, but apparently I did it!!! (November 11)
It’s possible that Jeff Frankenstein of the Newsboys has developed teleportation skills. Either that, or he just has an incredibly full schedule right now.
@jonforeman: Tim got some new wheels in Amsterdam http://instagr.am/p/T0BhI/ (November 11)
Switchfoot has been playing shows in Europe and the UK this week. Their travels have introduced them to all kinds of modes of transportation.
@theroadshow: Jars Band Shot #rwrs http://instagr.am/p/UCfyP/ (November 12)
MercyMe wasn’t the only band getting their picture taken backstage on the Roadshow. The Jars of Clay guys are armed and ready for action.
@PeterFurler: I Kidd you not. Someone put a goat in our change room. #keepaustinweird http://www.whosay.com/peterfurler/photos/91377 (November 12)
Texans definitely know how to make show experiences memorable for artists. Maybe everything’s bigger AND weirder in Texas.
LIKE A LION
@shaneandshane: This world is broken. But Jesus is the place that is not broken and will not break. (November 11)
Shane and Shane shared this thought on Twitter this week. “...but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears” (1 Cor. 13:10).
@adamagee: How do you defend the Bible? The same way you defend a lion... just let it out of the cage. (November 12)
To relate this back to another upcoming release... in words most recently sung by Newsboys: “My God is not dead, He’s surely alive. He’s living on the inside, roaring like a lion.” The truth is its own best defense.
