The week before Halloween--or "harvest" for non-observers--comes complete with countless opportunities to dress up, and Christian artists are catching the costume bug. Despite it being fall, a lot of artists were also running into their first snowstorms of the year this week and celebrating a sort of Christmas in October. Catch up on the related chatter below!
As always, if you'd like to keep tabs on over 1,200 Christian artists, check out our exclusive

Hardcore outfit Close Your Eyes released their latest project,
Empty Hands and Heavy Hearts, to strong reviews.
@andybarron: whoa. just saw my @switchfoot photo & album art on the stanford/usc pregame show. #collegeswitchfootball pic.twitter.com/tDoMGRDe (October 29)
Andy Barron, long time photographer and graphic artist for Switchfoot, saw his work in some surprising places this weekend, along with Switchfoot’s music. You never know where songs will end up...
SNOW DAYS
@Nadaddy: http://yfrog.com/o08ltntj Snow! (October 29)
When Family Force 5 played an event at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, they had a rather snowy welcome.
@michaelgungor: NYC is crazy right now! Trees falling everywhere in central park http://pic.twitter.com/N2wn5aeN (October 29)
The 7 Tour (David Crowder*Band, Gungor, Chris August, and John Mark McMillan) rolled into New York City this week and they were also greeted by a heavy load of snow which created a rather dangerous environment for a stroll through Central Park...
@jasonjamison: Got hit in the ear with a snow ball. Nice throw @mikedonehey @ Augusta Civic Center http://instagr.am/p/SAKMl/ (October 29)
Maine also got some snow on this very snowy weekend, which provided a post-show snowball fight for the Tenth Avenue North guys.
ROCK AND ROLL RESTROOMS
@JFrankenstein: Best bathroom door signs ever. http://moby.to/xvddke (October 29)
Newsboys have been in Lithuania this week. The general consensus on twitter seems to be that these are in fact rather fantastic. Maybe if we all signed a petition, American venues would adopt similar decor?
@KyleKupecky: Just sang "The National Anthem" with a 2 second LOUD echo delay and 2 keys higher than I practiced. WHOA. Somehow it all worked out though (October 29)
Kyle of Anthem Lights probably defined “flexibility” with this performance.
@MereMusic: Remember that time we locked ourselves out of our house and Jacob had to break in? http://lockerz.com/s/151359726 (October 29)
Few things are as memorable as breaking into your own house, as Meredith Andrews found out this week.
THIS IS HALLOWEEN/HARVEST
@TFKTrevor: Freddy abides..... http://instagr.am/p/RpuTP/ (October 27)
Trevor McNevan, frontman of Thousand Foot Krutch and FM Static, took on the role of horror icon Freddy Krueger this week. Somehow, even with the facepaint and gloves, he still manages to look like a nice guy.
@NatalieGrant: Never too young to make memories. Choose to make some good ones today. http://instagr.am/p/RorA5/ (October 27)
Natalie Grant got up early to help her twin daughters play the role of princesses for a day. Some memories are worth the lack of sleep.
@jrmeadkutless: I made a very Tim Burton-esque jack o lantern tonight!! Awesome. http://pic.twitter.com/STujgVCa (October 26)
Even rock stars take some time off to carve pumpkins occasionally. James Mead of Kutless carved this whimsically classic creation this week.
@jaseonfiya: Oh yes #halloween #70s #anchorman #stache #news @ Bloom Hair Design http://instagr.am/p/R9HDc/ (October 29)
Jason Wilkes (of High Flight Society) pulled off a very suave anchorman at a party at his wife’s hair salon.
@kevinmax: Ok, who else is going out as me for Halloween, I am. #youdon'tneedaboaoracape (October 29)
Stuck for a costume idea? Why not go as a former member of DC Talk? It seems to be working for Kevin Max.
