This week several artists worked on or released projects apart from their usual work (whether that be a book or an impressive medley posted to YouTube). They also had some adventures off stage with flaming bus wheels and forced intermissions. Check out what they had to say about it below.

Fireflight has been hard at work in the studio whenever they have time off the road, and they have finally wrapped up their next album. Look for it sometime early next year.

High Flight Society will be releasing their fan-funded record before long. The album apparently won the approval of lead singer Jason Wilkes’s daughter.

TOUR BUS TROUBLE

There seemed to be an epidemic of bus trouble on the night of September 16.

While Skillet and Fireflight struggled with their buses, the Disciple guys were dealing with a bus fire. Fortunately no one was hurt, and the bus came through without too much damage.
SCHOOLED
@BartMillard: My 9 yr old decided to do his insulin shot himself in front of all the girls in class. Great. His medication is now a pick up line. (September 15)
