This week many artists were enjoying a chance to hang out at Disney World and Universal Studios. Others were busy getting ready for the release of some projects they’ve been dreaming about for some time, while others were distracted by some familiar childhood toys.

Matt Hammitt of Sanctus Real will be releasing his solo album “Every Falling Tear” this week, inspired by his experiences with his son Bowen (who just celebrated his first birthday). Apparently Bowen approves of the project he inspired.

Relient K will be releasing their full-length album covering some of their favorite songs, following up on the initial cover EP release this summer. They shared the album cover via Twitter this week, and have been working on posting the full tracklist there as well.

Many bands found their way to Florida this week for Night of Joy (at Disney World) and Rock the Universe (at Universal Studios). Tenth Avenue North played on Saturday night at Rock the Universe.
