A lot of new projects are in production right now, promising an exciting set of Fall releases. Outside the studio, artists have been experiencing an unusual amount of technical difficulties while out on the road and on stage... as usual, Twitter provides a platform for sharing both the highs and the lows of life.

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES
@AshesRemain: Random Fact: Our transportation is a converted, 1984 Ford school bus with 6 bunks, a lounge and a kitchenette. (August 7)
Rockers Ashes Remain have taken the concept of having a tour bus to a whole new level.
@RawRock: Captain's log: We tinkered with the starter so long we ran the battery dead. Now we need a jump just to get back to tinkering.
@RawRock: Captain's log: help arrived, van was jumped, smoke billowed out, a horrible noise rang out and a belt snapped off. Not looking good. (August 8)
Showbread has had some serious van trouble lately. Fortunately, despite the issues they seem to have held onto their sense of humor, taking the opportunity to log a Star Trek reference.
@wavorlydave: The intro started, people were clapping, then all the power went out. #wavorlyfail (August 9)
Wavorly experienced some rather badly timed technical difficulties while opening up their show this week. Hopefully they managed to overcome the rather anticlimactic intro.
@nickysixx: Soooo FACT: I hate bugs. tonight during our show, I had 2 spiders hanging from my hair & mic stand. Ew. don't wanna talk about it. #bugzzzz (August 10)
Kutless also had some difficulties of a different kind due to playing an outdoor show. Guitarist Nick DePartee definitely had an exciting performing experiment as a result.
@jrmeadkutless: So...apparently we're not leaving because Air Force One is on the ground next to us. @BarackObama YOU'RE MAKING ME LATE! #dayruiner (August 11)
Bands face a lot of problems as they try to travel, but this is definitely one of the more unusual issues. Kutless found themselves delayed by the President this week.
SHOWING SUPPORT
@shaungroves: Quote from radio guy who won't play my new music: "This is escargot & caviar in a burgers & fries world." Thank u. ; ) (August 10)
As disappointing as it must be to hear that a station won’t play your songs, Shaun Groves at least received a somewhat apologetic compliment as consolation.
@superchicktrish: Remember when @switchfoot came and watched our show sidestage tonight?? Voted by me, nicest band ever. Down to earth and talented guys..
@superchicktrish: Best seat at the @switchfoot show instagr.am/p/KFFkW/ (August 12)
One of the most encouraging things about the Christian music industry is the way the artists support each other. The members of Switchfoot came out to watch Superchick’s set, and later some of the members of Superchick did the same.
