As bands travel to reach some of the hottest festivals of the summer (literally and figuratively), they are also busy ramping up the excitement for upcoming Fall releases (many of which went live for pre-order this week). Making the long trips between festivals often results in a lot of pressure and challenges... and of course, stories of the resulting adventures often find their way to Twitter.

RED was not alone in their bus woes. Family Force 5 missed two days of Warped Tour due to bus issues, but it didn't stop guitarist Chap Stique's wife from trying to keep the party going somehow.

This week Skillet headlined at Rock the Desert, a festival deep in the heart of drought-ridden Texas. Violinist Jonathan Chu shared one of the sights of the dusty festival.
