Owl City moved the release of his upcoming album, All Things Bright and Beautiful, up by one week. He also recently announced his tour plans on his site.

Derek Webb has been working on a new EP with his wife and fellow musician, Sandra McCracken. He is also in the voting stages for Democracy Vol. 2, a project where fans can nominate and vote for 10 songs for him to cover over the rest of this year.

Lecrae helped publicize the latest project from fellow Christian rapper Tedashii. Tedashii's new album will be titled Blacklight. The video shares the concept behind the project.

Skillet will continue to build on the success of gold certified album Awake, releasing a remix album on March 22. The EP will feature four songs from Awake, remixed by keyboardist/background vocalist/rhythm guitarist Korey Cooper and their former guitar player, Ben Kasica.

Family Force 5 is still hard at work on their third record. Judging by recent tweets from both @Croutonff5 and @ChapStique, the guitars on this album will be a little heavier than on their sophomore release Dance or Die.

Seth Mosley (frontman of Me in Motion) has been working in the studio with Peter Furler (former lead singer of the Newsboys) to create Furler's solo project. Listen for the single on the radio starting at the end of this month.

Aaron Gillespie's solo worship project is already available at his shows, and it will be available in stores and online starting on Tuesday, March 8.

Mark Hall of Casting Crowns offered these words of wisdom to his followers. He is also continuing his Bible study on James through their facebook page, and he invites fans to continue to join in.

Matt Hammitt's son went through another surgery this week and is recovering swiftly. Bowen is a fighter. The Hammitt family would appreciate your continued prayers as Bowen recovers. 

TOUR PRANKS AND CANADIAN SPELLING

Judging by the lack of backlash on Underoath's twitter, it is probable that no one chose to take Nate Young up on his suggestion.

Lead singer of MercyMe decided to take on Thousand Foot Krutch's well-known song Rawkfist today in the name of proper spelling. Mac Powell of Third Day had a different solution:

The effort to correct Trevor's spelling was apparently unsuccessful. 

MISTAKEN IDENTITIES...

Misreading a person's name can have interesting results, as Ethan Luck discovered. No, Elton John is not drumming for Relient K...

This is a great example of why it is really helpful to get to The Rock and Worship Roadshow early: it can be really hard to recognize the bands when you're on the other side of a stadium. And it's also important to pay attention to which signing line you're getting into!

Ben Kasica, former guitarist for Skillet, played one of his last shows on March 4. Apparently some fans won't notice much of a difference.
