Each week, dozens of singles and a handful of projects are released in the Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) and Urban Soul spaces. Below, we have listed a few highlights and included the rest for your review. As always, follow our New Christian Rap and Hip-Hop playlist on Spotify and Apple Music to listen to all the latest.
Canon - "Falling Down" Reflection Music Group’s (RMG) Canon debuts his first new music of 2026. The new single stands out as an upbeat NYC drill-inspired track circled around pushing forward regardless of life’s setbacks. Canon brilliantly blends melodic rap lyrics with a catchy, vibey hook. The track captures the feelings of failure, exhaustion, and downright personal decline while reminding listeners to get back every time and move forward. “Falling Down” is a motivational recharge for anybody experiencing being “burnt out” or worn down. Just because we experience failure or obstacles, God challenges us to pick ourselves up and run forward and with a spirit of excellence. Soundscape-wise, I love the little things like the guitar additions throughout. Stream “Falling Down” on Spotify and Apple Music.
Braille and YP aka Young Paul - "Quiet on the Set" Gospel Banquet’s Braille isn’t done with his partnership with the gritty-inspired YP aka Young Paul. Actually, far from it as the two continue to release singles from the soon-to-be-released deluxe version of their Sober Minded collaboration project. To this day, most of my CHH plays are dedicated to music between 2004-2015. It’s my favorite decade and era of Holy Hip-Hop (HHH)/CHH. Therefore, boom-bap beats and gritty, timeless hip-hop have a special place within my heart. Braille and YP have revived such a sound with a modern spin and I’m here for it. “Quiet on the Set” checks all my personal boxes for enjoyment. I love the samples and little sound inclusions careful ears will catch. Another beautiful track from this dynamic duo. Stream “Quiet on the Set” on Spotify and Apple Music.
Untidld - "Holy Encounter" In an era where the "loudness war" often triumphs over nuance, Untidld arrives like a deep breath in a crowded room. His track “Holy Encounter” isn't just a song; it’s a three-minute sanctuary that blurs the lines between contemporary R&B, soul, and spiritual meditation. From the first note, “Holy Encounter” establishes a sense of space. The production is intentionally lean, favoring atmosphere over artifice. The sonic backdrop is represented by minimalist synth pads that feel like a “morning mist”. The vocals is where Untidld shines. His delivery is conversational yet deeply emotive, moving effortlessly between a grounded baritone and a haunting falsetto.
The track explores the intersection of the human and the divine, however, the listener chooses to define that. It’s about those moments of clarity that stop you in your tracks. Untidld manages to make "holy" feel accessible rather than exclusive. What makes this track stand out in 2026’s landscape is its authenticity. There’s no heavy-handed autotune or forced viral hooks. Instead, we get a raw, honest exploration of vulnerability. It feels less like a performance and more like an invitation to a private moment.
If your playlist needs a dose of soul-searching or if you’re just looking for the perfect track to decompress to after a long day, “Holy Encounter” is essential listening. Untidld continues to prove that he is one of the most compelling voices in the alternative soul scene today. Stream “Holy Encounter” on Spotify and Apple Music.
