Each week, dozens of singles and a handful of projects are released in the Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) and Urban Soul spaces. Below, we have listed a few highlights and included the rest for your review. As always, follow our New Christian Rap and Hip-Hop playlist on Spotify and Apple Music to listen to all the latest.
Reconcile - "Say Twin" Revolutionaries’ and Fort Myers’ finest emcee, Reconcile returns with his sixth single released in 2025. The slang definition for the phrase “say twin” speaks to a close connection between two individuals due to resemblance, personality or shared interests. It’s a term of endearment between two people. During the track, Reconcile repeatedly speaks to himself and others close to him offering warnings in the form of “cause and effect”. Production-wise, it’s solid through and through. The constant eerie electric guitar strokes are a sweet, sweet sound to my ears for whatever reasoning. Reconcile can speak to a different demographic of people groups than most. The streets, underground, the hood”, he’s willing to go any and everywhere to inject the love of Christ. Stream “Say Twin" on Spotify and Apple Music.
indie tribe - "STAY" The latest single from indie tribe hits different. It’s about maturity, longevity, relationships, and above all – love. The collective of five close-knit brothers has already proven they can rap, RAP (even Jackie Hill Perry things so). With their newest material, tempos are turned down, and the beat is mellowed out. “STAY” is about reflection, legacy, and impact. This is a track someone can play on repeat and just reminisce about life in general. This is the type of track thrown on photography slideshows emitting visual memories of the past joys, hurts, and everything in between. Stream “STAY” on Spotify and Apple Music.
HE WILL RETURN EP by Hulvey Reach Records’ artist Hulvey gives a legit preview to his forthcoming third studio album with the collection of three tracks on the HE WILL RETURN EP. The title track, “SURVIVAL,” and “AMERICAN IDOLZ” featuring DC3 collectively are some of Hulvey’s milestone pieces of art, two years in the making. He shares that in a cultural moment where division often takes center stage, these songs point us back to the reality of Christ’s Second Coming; a reminder meant to unify and to refocus the Church on hope that doesn’t fade and love which is everlasting.
A music video was filmed in London for each of the three included tracks. The first one may be seen below. “AMERICAN IDOLZ” featuring drill rap specialist DC3 is a favorite of mine. A pristine collection of bars and penmanship. The live instrumentation adds even more flavor and uniqueness to the track. DC3 is a young man hailing from Northhampton, England with Zimbabwean heritage. He’s forever unashamed for the gospel detailing his faith, biblical theology, and a high caliber delivery bar-for-bar. Together, Hulvey and DC3 formulate one of the premier CHH-driven tracks of 2025. Stream the HE WILL RETURN EP on Spotify here.
