Each week, dozens of singles and a handful of projects are released in the Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) and Urban Soul spaces. Below, we have listed a few highlights and included the rest for your review. Sho Baraka feat. L3XDIVINE - "Still Got Faith" Lions and Liars Music’s Sho Baraka partners up with independent emcee, vocalist, songwriter and producer L3XDIVINE for his third single of 2025. “Still Got Faith” is an anthem that blends hard-hitting drums with trap jazz and church roots. It’s a celebration for anyone still standing, believing, and fighting the good fight. With a legacy built on truth and creativity, he teams up with L3XDIVINE to deliver a track that hits with sound and soul, full of fire, faith, and purpose. Fans are excited for her return to music, as her last release was a single in June of 2021.
The song reminds me of one of Baraka’s prolific releases, The Narrative, from 2016 due to the live instrumentation and delivery. “Still Got Faith” may represent one of my favorite overall tracks from Baraka in some time. Stream “Still Got Faith” on Spotify and Apple Music.
Derek Minor and Canon feat. Greg James - "HERO" Reflection Music Group’s (RMG) Derek Minor and Canon link up with Greg Jones for the first single off the forthcoming Vigilante Tape. The project has been a process; over five years of planning, hard work, and bursts of creativity. As Minor pointed out on a recent Instagram (IG) post, “this one’s for the fighters, the faithful, and the ones who never fold.”
Over a cinematic, heavy-hitting beat, Minor and Canon trade verses that feel more like journal entries than bars. The hook, hauntingly repeated by Greg James, becomes a mantra for those who never signed up to save the world—but were handed the weight anyway. The track represents an anthem for every unintentional leader. It’s for the ones who are praised publicly but suffer silently. It’s raw, human, and spiritual tension on full emotional display.
The single resides in the emotional core of Minor and Canon’s Vigilante Resistance movement. It’s a collective of real people doing the hard work, not for applause but out of necessity. Walking away isn’t a viable option.
Kham feat. Parris Chariz - "THUMP" Culture Villains’ Kham drops the first single from the Road To Geneva song series. It’s a set of five singles preparing listeners for his next EP titled, Geneva. The track is an aggressive motivator pushing listeners to be assertive and confrontational when creating their own metaphorical “seat at the table” or “busting down barriers” which are seen as an obstacle. The experimental yet hostile production from GodFrame sets the tone for the single deemed infectious from start to finish. Stream “Thump” on Spotify and Apple Music.
