Last year, NCS Collective exploded on the screen as a new collective of songwriters, artists, and performers dedicated to empowering Christian songwriters worldwide. Since their launch with NRT Music in August 2024, their songs have been streamed over 200,000 times on Apple Music, and Spotify.

NCS Collective's debut album, All Shall Be Well, displayed a wide range of genres and styles, containing everything from modern worship to Motown and '50s "doo-wop" tracks. That trend has continued beyond All Shall Be Well with a fresh stream of powerful Christian music, filled with compelling messages, worship-filled melodies, and Christ-centered lyrics.

Here's a look at some of the highlights so far from this eclectic worship group.

"Your Kingdom"

"Your Kingdom" is a song about honoring and praising the holiness and power of God's Kingdom.

"Mighty God" featuring Coby James

"Mighty God" was the debut song from NCS Collective and describes the infinite power, wisdom, and strength of God. It's led by pop artist, Coby James.

"Inexpressible" featuring Jennifer McGill

An intimate ballad in the tradition of The Greatest Showman's "Never Enough," "Inexpressible" features the powerhouse vocal prowess of former Mickey Mousketeer, Jennifer McGill, in an unforgettable devotional moment before God. Tears flow easily in this piano, strings, and vocal performance that breaks all the rules for Contemporary Christian Music, yet delivers a stunning stage and theater-worthy experience to the listener while drawing them more intimately into God's inexpressible presence.

"Finally Home" featuring Christa Yakaboski

"Finally Home" is a poignant expression of the alchemy of sorrow and joy as we let someone we love slip into the arms of Jesus. Despite the pain of loss, there is also the joy of knowing that our loved one is "Finally home, finally free/Finally in the arms of Jesus/Where you were always meant to be," as expressed by dynamic writing duo Bonnie J. Barbey and John Chisum. Listeners may find themselves simultaneously teary as they recall those whom they've loved and lost to heaven, while hopeful for their ultimate reunion in Christ for eternity. This song will appeal to fans of Selah, Karen Peck and New River, Allison Krauss, and Laura Story.

"Come Holy Spirit" featuring Coby James

Every so often, a song about the Holy Spirit stirs the Church to remember this often-overlooked member of the Trinity. Songwriters Bonnie J. Barbey and John Chisum issue a worshipful call to honor the Spirit's power and ministry. With lyrics like "You are the power that raised Christ Jesus/From the grave to life again," this soul-stirring track, produced and performed by Coby James, deepens our reverence. A welcome addition to Spirit-focused worship, it stands alongside "Holy Spirit."

"You Are the One" featuring Jennifer McGill

Reminiscent of the doo wop music of the 1950's and '60's, "You Are the One" is an upbeat love song to Jesus belted out by powerhouse vocalist, Jennifer McGill. McGill, a former Mickey Mousketeer in the same cohort as Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, Christina Aguilera, and Brittany Spears, croons "Before time began You knew me/You had a plan, You had a plan for who I'd be/Called me by name, saved my soul now I believe/You are the One/You are the One for me." Veteran producer, Sal Oliveri (Pink, Chris Stapelton, Paramour, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood) lends stunning production to undergird the equally stunning vocal performance of McGill to present a thrilling and delightful song of love and praise to Jesus.

"Rule and Reign" featuring Bruce Carroll

Songwriters Bonnie J. Barbey, Bruce Carroll, and John Chisum remind us that lasting change begins within, as we allow God's love to transform our hearts. Featuring Bruce Carroll's iconic vocals, "Rule and Reign" calls for surrender to God's Kingdom. Carroll's voice resonates with lyrics like, "If I wanna reach the nations, then I need a transformation / It's Your love that changes everything." This GRAMMY-winning artist offers a timely message of love and hope amidst today's challenges.

"Rock Of Ages" featuring Joey Richey

Featuring vocals from Nashville's Joey Richey, "Rock of Ages" captures everything you love about vintage Gospel/Motown music. Let this song take you to church as you revel in the truths of the eternally faithful character and nature of God revealed as our strength and hope through all of life's trials and tribulations. Co-written by NCS Collective's Bonnie J. Barbey and John Chisum with additional contributions from GRAMMY-winning songwriter, David Baroni, "Rock of Ages" is destined to find its place in contemporary and traditional worship cultures for years to come.

"His Name Is Jesus" featuring Joey Richey

Following in the deep tradition of Motown Records comes "His Name Is Jesus" performed by Nashville's own Joey Richey. Richey, a popular performer, worship leader, and Nashville session singer brings his own soulful rendition to this stirring ballad proclaiming the character, nature, and attributes of Jesus through the compelling lyrics "Hope of the nations/My firm foundation/Lord of creation/My soul's salvation/Jesus, Jesus" from the hearts and songwriting skills of Bonnie J. Barbey and John Chisum.

"You Restore" featuring John Chisum

"You Restore" is a powerful new worship song from the pen of long-time worship artist, John Chisum (Integrity Music), and co-writer Bonnie J. Barbey. Referencing strong biblical truth and the promise of the abiding presence of God in Christ, the song proclaims "You restore, You renew/You bring beauty from the ashes" to invoke a powerful faith response from the listener. Fans of Phil Wickham, Chris Tomlin, and Matt Maher will find the track and Chisum's clear vocals compelling and worshipful.

"All Shall Be Well" featuring Becca Jordan

"All Shall Be Well" finds its deep biblical basis in the words of Jesus in John 16:33 (ESV),"I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." Echoing this scripture and the classic phrases, "All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well," attributed to Julian of Norwich (14th Century), songwriters Bonnie J. Barbey and John Chisum deliver a powerful new ballad to comfort and encourage us all as we endure the trials we face each day. Beautifully sung by Nashville worship leader, Becca Jordan, "All Shall Be Well" is destined to become a song looped over and over by listeners of all types in need of the comfort of its words and the promise of Jesus that He still overcomes the world today.
