Please tell me the personal story behind this song.
“My Hope Is Jesus” expresses the limitless hope in a relationship with Jesus—no matter what happens. God's steadfast presence and power, our hope, is accessible through Him. We worked together on this song with worship leader Mitch Wong. Because of what Jesus achieved for us on the cross, our brokenness does not define us. Instead, it offers a remarkable opportunity for the redeeming work of Jesus to unfold in our lives.
Even if the worst happens, there is more to existence than this temporary life. For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. He is our ultimate source of hope. That’s the core message of this song. It's our choice to keep Jesus at the center of our lives and to emphasize who He is over our current situations.

“My Hope Is Jesus” is a profound declaration of faith. The prophet Abraham was recognized for his righteousness because of his faith. We need the type of faith described in Hebrews 11:1 (NIV): "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."

Worship means giving God our best and offering ourselves to Him. We can submit to Him and give everything we have. According to God's Word, Jeremiah 29:13, we must seek Him with all our hearts, and we will find Him.
We can face our daily battles with more remarkable courage and strength because we trust that, regardless of the outcome, as promised in Romans 8:28, "God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Being a Christian means walking by faith, not by sight. Faith encourages us to rely on the unseen. Each day, we all walk by faith. The beauty of this journey is that it teaches us to trust God more entirely with our lives.
