Red Street Records Recording artist Iveth Luna recently released her sophomore EP, Right on Time. The EP follows the release of her most recent singles, “Just Like Jesus” and “Right on Time,” and the launch of the accompanying music videos of those upbeat songs.

Iveth’s album delivers a powerful message of restoration and healing, magnifying how God will continually support and carry us, no matter how desperate the situation or the obstacles. This new bilingual Christian singer’s mission is to truly live out a faith journey, like Abraham and Sarah in the Bible, living in faith and with hopeful expectations.

Iveth embraces God's guidance in her life, even when uncertain about her next steps. I appreciate the reflective and respectful quality of her song “One of a Kind.” Iveth has a unique ability to invite listeners to worship alongside her. I recently spoke with her about her infectious new single, “One of a Kind.”

Please tell me the personal story behind this song.

This song was written when I needed to be reminded that God is who He says He is. I needed to surrender my situation to Him and know He could do more than I could imagine. I felt a tug in my heart to write a song to my younger self. What would I say to her, knowing what I know now?

I hope listeners feel this song embraces love and truth. We are uniquely and wonderfully made in God's image, and that makes us one of a kind. That’s what this song is about.

Which Bible verses connect to the message of the song?

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV): "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."

Romans 8:28 (VOICE): “We are confident that God can orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.”

Psalm 139:14 (NKJV): "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well."

Psalm 139:13-18 (NLV): "For You made the parts inside me. You put me together inside my mother. I will thank You for the greatness of how I was made brings fear. Your works are great, and my soul knows it very well. My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret and put together with care in the deep part of the earth. Your eyes saw me before I was put together. And all the days of my life were written in Your book before any of them came to be. Your thoughts are of great worth to me, O God. How many are there? If I could number them, there would be more than the sand. When I awake, I am still with You."

Song of Solomon 4:7 (NIV): "You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you."

Philippians 4:6 (VOICE): "Don't be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come."

Philippians 4:7 (NKJV): "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Philippians 1:6 (NKJV): “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV): But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

What is the takeaway message?

“One Of A Kind” has ministered to my heart, and I’m so excited for others to hear it. Express your belief and know that God will make a way. I can sing this song joyfully because I know that God still performs miracles—even in unknown ways.

I’ve had the opportunity to see God work through my music on the road, and seeing how fans have responded has been such a blessing. It makes me that much more excited about the EP's release. I pray that these songs become the healing balm of words someone needs to hear or a moment of joy they can take everywhere.

Lyrics

Did someone ever make you feel like you are not enough?
Like you cannot just be yourself if you want to be loved
Did someone scar that broken heart with all those sticks and stones?
Like you need to be someone else, well, I need you to know

There is one who sees the real you
Loves you as you are
Sees the perfect and imperfect
Sees the beauty in the scars
There is one who sees a diamond
That shines like only you can shine
The one who made you
Made you
One of a kind

Did someone ever tell you that you’re precious in His sight?
You are strong, a joyful song that’s singing through the night
Did someone say that you have faith that this world really needs?
And the you that you are is the you you need to be 'cause

There is one who sees the real you
Loves you as you are
Sees the perfect and imperfect
Sees the beauty in the scars
There is one who sees a diamond
That shines like only you can shine
The one who made you
Made you
One of a kind

You are, you are, you are, you are
You are who you need to be
You are, you are, you are, you are, you are
Even when it’s hard to see

There is one who sees the real you
Loves you as you are
Sees the perfect and imperfect
Sees the beauty in the scars
There is one who sees a diamond
That shines like only you can shine
The one who made you
Made you
The one who made you
Made you
One of a kind
One of a kind

Closing Thoughts

Iveth’s heartfelt vocals express a profound yearning for the Lord and a deep thankfulness for His mercy and grace. Her music reminds us that God is more significant than any calamity. Life may not go as we expect or pray for, but God’s Word encourages us not to be afraid. By trusting in what He says about us, we find strength to overcome doubts and identity struggles.

Trust in Jesus, and remember: you are never alone. This truth brings comfort during uncertain times and serves as a reminder not to worry about things beyond your control. Have confidence in God’s ability to work all things together for your good. Spend time with Him and allow Him to redeem and restore you. Your story isn’t over—God is still writing your redemption story. He wants you to grow in faith, security, and a deeper relationship.

Strive to know God intimately. He has made you His dwelling place and continually renews your mind and life. Let His truth captivate your thoughts and guide your heart. You’ll find grace that removes anxiety, guilt, and shame in His love. Remember: being His is enough.

Iveth’s song beautifully captures this truth:

"There is one who sees the real you

Loves you as you are

Sees the perfect and imperfect

Sees the beauty in the scars

There is one who sees a diamond

That shines like only you can shine

The one who made you
Made you
 one of a kind.”

Let us sing this song loudly, thanks to the one who knows and loves us fully. Amen to that.
