Hulvey - "True" Reach Records’ Hulvey drops his second single off the forthcoming sophomore album titled, CRY. The album is set to be released on Friday, September 13. “True” was created as an ode to his wife, Rachael, and to the glory of God simultaneously. Currently, Hulvey is the opening act for Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham’s Summer Nights Tour which runs during 17 tour stops between August 1 and August 28. Hulvey has been premiering the single during his set which the feedback has been incredibly positive. On July 19, Hulvey released the first single from the new project and was tagged as one of his best songs to date from his extensively strong catalog.
“True” is a catchy throwback-like track in which the lyrics become embedded within the listener’s head even after the first listen. I catch myself repeating bits and pieces of it throughout the day. It’s a beautiful marriage of hip-hip and R&B blended seamlessly. If the first two tracks are any indication of what the rest of the album will represent, fans may be screaming for album of the year nominations. Stream “True” on Spotify and Apple Music.
Mission feat. 1K Phew - "Jackpot" AOYNOM’s Mission and Reach Records’ 1K Phew team up for a summer anthem to close out these hot, humid summer nights. This track is a lock for any gym or workout playlist as well as syncing opportunities across media channels such as sports games and commercials. The track was produced by K. Agee.
The downright nasty and heavy 808’s hit hard enough to smash every window of your car and the cars around you. Phew shines above and beyond a simple feature verse commanding the track throughout. Catchy wordplay, brilliant harmony add-ins, and just a fantastic track through and through. Stream “Jackpot” on Spotify and Apple Music.
Jered Sanders feat. Toyalove - "PRICEY"
Independent rapper Jered Sanders releases his second single off the upcoming sequel to March’s Talk To Me Nice project. Also, indie artist Toyalove caps off the end of the track beautifully. Both artists receive distribution assistance through RMG Amplify. Sanders has always remained one of the premier lyricists in CHH. Toyalove does not disappoint either adding creativity and diversity to the track. The concept is based off of how Jesus paid the price for our sins, a feat which remains priceless.
