Nolan & Zane's Lofi Adventures by Derek Minor Reflection Music Group's (RMG) Derek Minor extends his creative genius with his first Lo-fi (lofi) project. For those unfamiliar with the styling of lofi music, it's defined as low fidelity, a type of non-lyrical music that contains origins and influences from boom-bap/New York instrumentals. Most lofi tracks are relaxing, evoke position emotions, and emit time nostalgia. Minor has been determined, lately, to perfect his reign in the art of production. In the last year or two, he's focused heavily on producing tracks for label artists and the sub-genre of CHH overall. With this latest project, Minor's production talents are spotlighted heavily giving fans a peek into the genius associated with Minor.
Nolan and Zane are the names of Minor's sons. The project song titles are modeled after typical ideas associated with children and parents from the time we open and shut our eyes daily. With this lofi adventure, Minor provides another fantastic example of talents which Minor produces through musical art. Lofi isn't for everyone, as usually a specific ear is required to enjoy. It's music one can relax to in the background. It's music to calm the soul. It's music with direct attention to the technical side of production. It's just good for the soul.
Therefore, this is an instrumental project. Diehard RMG fans must continue to wait for Minor's brilliance on the mic when wearing his emcee hat. Mission feat. Mike Teezy - "Be Gone" Californian Mission returns with his second single released in 2022. Backed by RMG Amplify and RPSMG, Mission has always kept a solid team of support. Pinned as one of the most underrated spitters in the CHH subgenre, Mission rarely misses. His energy, delivery, play on words, and punchlines are some of the best hands down. West Virginia native Mike Teezy tag teams the track matching in both energy and lyricism excellence. This single is a certified banger for a weekend ride through the neighborhood, summertime barbeques, or just something nasty to get bodies moving. Mission and Teezy feed off each other throughout. Reconcile - "I Know That You're With Me"
Miami native Reconcile blesses the people with his first single of 2022. He's always been a mouthpiece for the streets throughout his ministry utilizing hip-hop as the medium. Reconcile challenges believers often and their closed-minded views of faith and race in America. Also, he advocates for incarcerated youth, police reform, and community development. Essentially, he's a raw example of what the hands and feet of Jesus should represent.
The latest single speaks to God's presence in his own life, his community, and the overall dominion of God's people. The contagious acoustic guitar chords combined with the acapella breaks provide a worship vibe of sorts. His heart is always exposed, heavy, and transmitted through each verse.
