It's that time of year again. Christmas is coming quickly, and so is its music. After a year like 2020, we all need a little joy and hope this holiday season. Thankfully artists are giving some of that with new Christmas tunes.

We've compiled a list of new Christmas albums and singles that we know you won't want to miss out on. And if you want more, make sure to subscribe to our updated New Christian Christmas 2020 playlist on Spotify or Apple Music.

for KING & COUNTRY - A Drummer Boy Christmas

Maybe, I'm biased because for KING & COUNTRY is one of my all-time favorite bands. Their new album A Drummer Boy Christmas is the best release this season. The band is no stranger to Christmas music: They've previously released both a Christmas EP and a live album. And, if you've ever seen them in concert, you know that they'll almost always play their hit song "Little Drummer Boy" at any time of the year.

A Drummer Boy Christmas features songs with alt-rock veterans NEEDTOBREATHE and country artist Gabby Barrett, as well as brand new original songs. It truly is an incredible album. You'll want to play it on repeat at your family gatherings (er,  virtual gatherings) this year.

Francesca Battistelli - This Christmas

Francesca Battistelli is another artist who's no stranger to Christmas music. Her new album, This Christmas, is her sophomore holiday album, and it's amazing. The album's cover art has an adorable hand-knit winter scene. You'll fall in love with this album from the moment you see the cover. This new Christmas album features 14 tracks, some classics and some originals. One of her new songs, "Behold Him," has already caught the attention of many listeners.  The song has received 78,000 views on YouTube.

Rend Collective - A Jolly Irish Christmas (Vol. 2)

Christian band Rend Collective is known for their upbeat, Irish style of music. These Ireland natives always bring a piece of their homeland into their songs, and this new Christmas album is no exception. A Jolly Irish Christmas is an album full of upbeat, fun holiday tunes. Rend Collective released its first holiday album, Campfire Christmas, in 2014. And, since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for another holiday album. It was definitely worth the wait. Their new Christmas album is, in my opinion, their best one yet. The band collaborated with several celebrated artists, like We The Kingdom, We Are Messengers, and Keith & Kristyn Getty. This album matches its name: it's a jolly Irish album.

Marc Martel - Thank God It's Christmas EP

Few voices capture you instantly and make you lean in with anticipation hanging on every note, and Marc Martel is one of those voices. His new Christmas EP welcomes a beautiful duet with the incomparable Amy Grant alongside five more songs that welcome in the season in an incredibly classy way that few others do. You'll love having these songs in your holiday rotation and playlists.

Lynda Randle - White Christmas

Lynda Randle, a Gaither Homecoming artist, is the sister of Newsboys frontman Michael Tait. This year, Lynda and her brother have been working hard on spreading some Christmas cheer. The two put together a virtual Christmas in July concert this past summer. Lynda recently released her second holiday album, White Christmas. The album is filled with new takes on some old Christmas classics. There's something about these songs that will bring out the Christmas spirit in all of us.

Colton Dixon - "Let It Snow"

"Let It Snow" is a song that feels nostalgic. Colton Dixon released a great remake of the song that is special to so many of us. This year, there's been many artists recreating Christmas classics. But, Colton's remake stands out to me. It has a great holiday vibe to it. On social media, Colton shared that "Let It Snow" has always been one of his favorites. And, since this is the first Christmas for Colton and his wife Annie as a family of four, he thought it would be fun to release this song. I'm glad he did. It's a great new take on this Christmas classic.

Hannah Kerr - Christmas Eve in Bethlehem (Deluxe Edition)

Two years ago, artist Hannah Kerr released her first highly acclaimed Christmas album. Now, two years later, Hannah has released its deluxe version. Christmas Eve in Bethlehem (Deluxe Edition) features five bonus songs, one of which features new artist Cochren & Co. If you're looking for a great new Christmas album, look no further. Hannah's new music is great pop music, mixed with festive cheer. So, turn on this album, grab some hot chocolate, and enjoy the music.

Unspoken - Good News EP

Last, but certainly not least, popular band Unspoken has released a new three-song medyum dolunay Christmas EP, Good News. This new EP features holiday favorite, "Feliz Navidad, as well as original songs, "Good News" and "Christmas Everyday" (the band released this single in 2016). Unspoken has a huge fanbase, and I know that these songs will be enjoyed by their fans for years to come. This is an EP that I'd suggest you check out. So, have fun, and Merry Christmas. And, let's all remember to keep our eyes on Jesus, the true reason for this season.
