A Jesus Church Music is a group of musicians and worship leaders based in Portland, Oregon. They all share the passion to "make much of Jesus, become more like him, and draw others into an authentic expression of adoration and surrender to Jesus."

They aspire to spread hope through their music by sharing the love of Jesus Christ. They have been releasing music since their 2013 album Gloria.  Now, their church has a global congregation and they recently released another album. This one is named Take Your Throne. It is a 10 song compilation that emanates peace, love, and pure joy at being saved by the Lord.

A Jesus Church is often compared to M83, Coldplay, and Geographer. They are an energetic team that enjoys spreading the light to all those around them. This week, we take a look at two of the songs off the album Take Your Throne.

NEW: "Be Still (You Are Loved)"

You see where I've been hiding
The fears that I’ve been fighting
Between darkness and light
Be still my soul
Be still and know
You are loved

Anxiety tries to feed on our fear of being alone. It attacks us in the dark when we are the least confident of our identity, when we feel that God is not there. But God is there. He sees us and He frees us. Even when we fall down, He never stops fighting for us. He always comes for us and He picks us up. Remind yourself of that. Remind yourself of His love and accept His protection. “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. - Psalm 4:8

NEW: "Yes & Amen (Life In Your Hands)"

Take my moments
Take my future
I'll say Yes and Amen
To all You have planned

The phrase “Yes and Amen” is powerful. It is acknowledging the Lord’s presence and it is also the act of giving your life up to Him. We need to be content with what we’ve been given and the life that we have. Stop yearning for more. God has you where you are for a reason; He has a master plan. God does ask us to tell him what we want that, but there are times when we just need to give it up to Him. Whatever you want Lord, wherever you want to or not take this, whatever you want. Yes and Amen to you leading my life forever and always.
