From American Idol season six finalist. Sligh's willingness to challenge convention and to take creative risks is evident throughout "Running Back To You". Produced by Brown Bannister (Amy Grant, Aaron Neville, MercyMe, Steven Curtis Chapman), with guest co-production from renowned musicians Will Owsley and Stephen Leiweke, the project will evoke other artists of passion and commitment, from Switchfoot to The Killers.

Wow, I was blown away. One full spin on the record and I'm definitely a fan. This is something you won't want to pass up. Be sure to check out "Loaded Gun," "Empty Me," and "Vessel."
Sligh sings for the Lord| Posted May 13, 2008
As a big fan of American Idol, season 6 was a great year for Christian artists. Sligh is the third one to release an album following Jordin Sparks and Phil Stacey, and the first one to be mostly aimed at the Christian market. The album is solid from top to bottom and has a good mix of rockers to ballads. Radio friendly throughout, I'm sad "Empty Me" isn't climbing the charts faster than I expected. Other highlights include "Vessel" and "Are You Pleased." The "fro patrol" delivers!
I only heard samples of each of his songs and was suprised. The production is great and Chris shows off his many singing talents - as to say the songs do not sound the same. This easliy has multiple hits on it. Check out "Arise", "Empty Me", "Loaded Gun" & "Love Is Raining Down". This album is a great inspiration and unmistakeably stands for Christ. Great album - I'm an instant fan.
