My Fav! | Posted October 19, 2007
Hawk Nelson has been one of my #1 favorites for awhile now, they have such a great sound of punk pop/and rock. I love their song "hello", because not too many, artist play the kazoo with their music!

The song "Bring EM Out" was performed by them in the 2005 remake of the movie "Yours Mine and Ours".It has also be featured in tons of commercials.

"Zero" Deals with a friend who has committed suicide.

"Everything You ever Wanted" talks about a father who walks out on his kids, and how we need to forgive others.

This is a great cd full of both fun and serious songs, for everyone to enjoy!

Even my uncle likes it. | Posted August 30, 2007
It's like, upbeat and fun. Good music for driving in a car full of people to the beach or something. "Zero" and "Fourteen" are like, amazing and make me think a lot. And then there's "Something On My Mind" and "Hello" that make me want to dance around. One of my favorite cd's. The one song I can't listen to is "Everything You Ever Wanted" because it has been way overplayed in my area.

awesome | Posted August 24, 2007
this album is really awesome, and even though the first one was good. this one is a million times better. i love it and i listen to all the time. it has some serious songs like zero and everything you ever wanted and then some fun nonsensical songs like bring 'em out. so basically it has a song for all of my mood swing in just one album. pretty impressive.

The maturity of Hawk Nelson | Posted August 24, 2007
This CD is a good mix of some seriously hardcore music with a whole lot of maturity. This Cd definitely shows that Hawk Nelson has matured a lot and, especially in the videos, you can see that they have gotten very serious. Songs such as "Zero" which talks of teen suicide and "The one thing I have left" which talks of anticonformity and how people can tear you apart but never take who you are. I highly recommend it to anyone but you won't find the teenagers of Letters to the President you instead will find them much more matured.

Great Follow Up! | Posted August 23, 2007
I am really impressed with Hawk Nelsons follow up to Letters to the President.

The first ablum rocked, but they have definitally matured since then.

I really love how they can tackel the real tough topic of broken homes. They really cut deep on the issue and it was very moving. At the same time they also stuck to the fun, upbeat punk sound and songs that we all fell in love with in the first CD. I totally cannot wait to see what they will do next!

Hawk Nelson- Smile, It's the End of the World | Posted August 23, 2007
Definitely better than their first album. It is less amateur, and you can tell they've gotten better. I like how they tried some new stuff, although lead singer Jason Dunn's screaming wasn't very good. I enjoy every song, but some high points for me are the songs The One Thing I Have Left, Everything You Ever Wanted, Something On My Mind, and Hello. I just find that these songs are really catchy and show how much talent they really have. Great job altogether.
