Thousand Foot Krutch wrote their name on the rock slate with the release of what was rated one of 2003's most anticipated albums, "Phenomenon." The album was recorded in the summer of 2003 at The Compound in Seattle, WA. Alongside producer, Aaron Sprinkle ( Anberlin, Demon Hunter, Holland ), the 12 tracks laid down combine to form a cohesive, yet diverse whole that evades musical genres and blurs the line between hard rock and hip-hop. No doubt the future holds good things for these Toronto boys.

This CD is so different from their last CD, with a whole different sound. Trevor McNevan's voice is so passionate and perfect for this type of music. The whole vibe of this Cd is powerful, with the message that there are things that Christians can do to change things. This Is A Call is a beautiful ballad about young people crying out to God, hoping He will answer them. The lyrics are maybe a little weak, so you can tell that the band probably focuses more on the music. Another small problem is there is little diversity between songs, since all are just hard rock songs with grinding guitars and strong drum beats,b ut there is enough that after a few listens you can appreciate each song. So really a great rock CD in my opinion.

Ya this CD is pretty awesome, in my opinion it's the best TFK CD, but hopefully "The Flame In All Of Us" will top it. My fav songs are probably Rawfist (of course), Bounce, and I Climb
