What It Sounds Like:
Switch has given us an astonishing new album to listen to and to enjoy. "Sometimes we experience chaos, hurt and pain in our lives. Even when we don’t understand it, we can trust that God is weaving together a beautiful symphony. That’s what this album is all about,” said JT Murrell. This album will help you experience joy in God’s kingdom through all situations and experiences.
Even though all the songs have their very own spiritual highlight, the song “Count Me In” is the one that stands out the most. The chorus of the song recites, “I won't let the race overtake me / Won't let anxiety phase me / Whatever comes, count me in / Count me in / Oh, even when my legs are weary / I'm not gonna give up that easy / Whatever comes, count me in / Count me in.” This is showing us that we all want to be in God’s kingdom and that God is welcoming us with open arms.
Best Song On The Album:
While the title track “Symphony” is a huge hit off the album, “Lifeline” is one that stood out on this album. With the lyrics of “See the waters / Rushing through this broken vessel / You're the calm within the current / Hope rising through the storm.” It tends to suck you into this beautiful song and you will feel God’s presence through you.
For The Fans Of:
Stars Go Dim, The Young Escape, Dan Bremnes
Symphony is a great debut album for an upcoming praise and worship band. This album is one of the biggest releases for the first quarter of 2020 and one that you should be listening to. JT Murrell states, “These songs will help people drown out what doesn’t matter so they can focus on Jesus. Our hope is that they play them in the moments where they feel out of control so they’re reminded of God’s grace.”
