Recent Motown Gospel signee Brian Courtney Wilson presents his debut release from his new label home aptly entitled, Worth Fighting For. The Stellar Award winner teamed up with producing powerhouse and Motown Gospel’s VP of A&R Aaron Lindsey to produce a collective body of work that will leave the listener sonically impressed, empowered to worship, and encouraged to endure life’s obstacles. A majority of the music was recorded at Wilson’s first live recording, which took place in Houston, Texas in July 2014. The album is a unique blend of studio productions and selections from the live recording. With a vibrant new sound coupled with Brian’s smooth vocals and genuine spirit, this album is a promising wild card for the industry and a great start to the New Year.

Nice Worshipful Album| Posted January 21, 2015
I had never heard of Brain Courtney Wilson before this album. I could really tell the passion that Brain has for the Lord and music in this album. To me the first part of this album was outstanding with great fast and slow songs. Though if you don't like long songs these can be a bit lengthy with the longest coming in at 7 minutes 12 secs. Stand My Ground had to be my favorite song of the album with a speed up slow down tempo and the choir was great. In this album the fast songs were better then the slow ones.
Mindful to me was the weakest song of the album too slow and some words I couldn't understand maybe poor sound quality but not sure. The last one The Medley Already Here seems to recapture everything coming together like the first few songs did. I would recommend this album if you like gospel music I will be listening to these songs by Brain again in the future. Though not all of them are in my playlist just the ones I liked. There is more good out of this album then bad that made it worth the listen.
