A stunning album with all the signature harmonies and lyrical intensity that you've come to love. These four ladies dedicate STEADY ON to their mothers, saying "we want to be just like you." You can't get much more apple pie-American than that. Don't be fooled into thinking that Point of Grace's music is some vapid, '90s version of Donny and Marie, though. All the tunes here are fully realized, and musically sophisticated, with a layered, textured feel to the arrangements, making for radio-friendly-but-intriguing pop. Point of Grace falls into that area of '90s pop where gospel, pop and Contemporary Christian music intersect, and their lyrics are full of spiritual themes and devotional references, but they don't sacrifice a single whit of accessibility or infectiousness. L. A. session vets like Lee Sklar and Phil Madeira rub shoulders with Christian pop hero Michael W. Smith (who makes a distinctive guest appearance) on this unique album.

I ABSOLUTELY love this cd! This is one of my favorites by POG. "Steady On" is such a great song...I can't ever be sad when I listen to it, because it just reminds me of Heaven and to keep carrying on! I love it! "My God" is another great one. Kinda slower, but the lyrics are so amazing! I love the piano on "The Wonder of It All". "The Song is Alive" is so upbeat and fun that you can't help but sing along-these girls have so much power in their voices..."Saving Grace" is a beautiful song about a girl named Grace and about God's terrific love and his saving grace for everyone. "Better Days" tells about how things can get better. "Who Am I" is so beautiful-the softness of the girl who sings lead in this one is amazing and truly touches my heart!
