Only the Holy Spirit, though a true lead worshiper like Chris Tomlin, can take those old classics and turn them into awesome songs of worship. The way they are arranged may finally give meaning to someone who has only sung them at Christmastime as a ritual.

I like the simple choral sounds of the songs and the arrangements are catchy!

I am blessed, I'll buy this one for sure!

POWERFUL | Posted July-14-2009
Okay, not fair! :) This is not my usual cup of tea but my nephew heard the first album and insisted that we listen. The album is awesome and powerful, the lyrics are so powerful, I can feel the presence of God coming through. They speak to situations of today and looking to God, who is our very present help in times of trouble. The album also speaks to keeping our mind stayed on God.

I also like the use of pairing with different genres/artists, that breaks up the usual monotony of rap music (my opinion :D). I'm looking out for this one!

Blessings to Da' T.R.U.T.H. and his ministry.

There is more to Don Moen | Posted February-25-2009
I loved it! Mr. Moen has managed to stay fresh and contemporary through the help of the Holy Spirit. The album offers a mix of the new (contemporary) sound with classic Don Moen. I was truly blessed and I recommend it as a keepsake. There may also be a song or two that can be incorporated into your worship session that will please all tastes!

Kari Jobe - woman after God's own heart | Posted February-10-2009
I heard Kari at NWLC 2008 with Gateway and could immediately identify with her style of worship. She just pours her everything into every song as she is led by the Holy Spirit. This is how I want to lead worship - just allowing God to use me, every fibre of my being. I like all the songs, especially I'm Singing and Revelation Song.

Lost In Egypt review | Posted February-10-2009
I like the album. I like the techno sound - glad to know the sound can still be fresh and interesting. I like the words of the songs. I like that, even though it was the same style throughout, it was not boring.

'X'ed off my list | Posted December-17-2008
Noooooo! First impressions last and, if the first song is anything to go by, forget it. I fastforwarded to some other songs and still was not convinced. I'm sorry - No good at all :-(

I liked it | Posted December-08-2008
Well, its a little different from what I'm accustomed! It was little difficult to hear the traditional songs being intepreted so differently. But - I got hooked on Gloria, In Excelsis Deo! I love it! There are others too: the original about the 'joys' of gift wrapping (Toy Packaging) :) and so on. It was good/different.

This is indeed the Day | Posted September-21-2008
I first heard of Lincoln Brewster at NWLC 2008 in Austin, Texas and this is now going to be my second album. What a refreshing new way to hear someone worship - pouring out his heart in his instrument and the songs a pretty catchy too and varied in their styles. The title song has been a such a bless since the first day I heard it at the Conference. I'm sure it will become one of those anthems for ages to come like its counterpart - This is the day that the Lord has made. May you be blessed to - buy it!!!
