This has a lot of the classic songs by Charlie Daniels. He has some great guests play for him as well. Charlie Daniels knows how to put on a great live show and this cd shows that very well. He has such a great southern sound to him.

Great Christmas CD | Posted September-02-2009
This is a gret cd to listen to during the holidays. The vocal range that the Barlow Girls have are amazing. We played this CD a lot this past holiday season and I am sure that we will play it again this year. I like the different versions and the way they play Christmas music.

Great Book about the Popular Bible Verse | Posted September-02-2009
Max Lucado knows how to write books for all different types of backgrounds. Everybody would learn more about John 3:16 by reading this book. The way he breaks down one of the Bible's most popular and greatest verses is amazing. He keeps his books so interesting by adding personal stories. This is a very good book for a Christian beginning their faith walk or for even a life long follower of Christ that wants to learn more about God's love for us.

If you want to get a CD that has a lot of great songs on it buy this one! We Shine is a great song that makes you want to be light to the darkness. It is such a motivating song. Then the vocals on Lift High are amazing. Glorious One is kind of slow but it humbles you and gets you singing along to the music. However, the best song on the album is "All Because of Jesus" and it will have you worshipping our Savior in no time. This is a solid CD. Can't wait for their next CD in October.

Awesome Passion Artist | Posted September-02-2009
I think this is Charlie Hall's best album. I think the second track on the cd is the best one, Marvelous Light! It has awesome lyrics and he has a great voice for this song. I also like the Song of the Redeemed- he does a great version of it. This is worship music at its finest. Charlie is part of the Passion movement and a couple of his songs also apear on Passion's CDs so check out some of their live stuff for more of Charlie Hall.

This book is written by a journalist so he goes around and interviews experts about Jesus. By reading this book you will learn how to ultimately defend your faith because these experts explain beyond a doubt that Jesus lived on this earth and performed the miracles that are in the Bible. By writing this book, Lee who was once an atheist becomes a believer. Altough this is a book that does get a little deep it is one that you will learn by reading it.

Five Star MUST READ | Posted August-27-2009
So you buy a Casting Crowns CD and you listen to the music and you start to wonder- who is this lead singer? Well then pick up a copy of Lifesong and learn more about him and the thought process behind one of their most popular albums. Mark Hall basically walks you through his life song but he wants the reader to personalize their own lifesong so he has some great questions that you should answer as you read the book. This would be a great book for a small group to read and share together.

Interesting Book and a Deep Read! | Posted August-27-2009
What happens when you have a close friend pass away? One way to grieve is to write in this case a book and that is exactly what Hogan and Crowder did. They decided to explore what science has to say about your soul. Now this is a very deep book that makes you think and it is one that you have to sometimes put down to really figure out what you just read. To make it interesting they include some great little tangents that make the book. Like most of the things Crowder does this book is quite unique. Put the A Collision and B Collision in your CD player or download it to your Ipod or MP3 player and start reading today!

Good book for Teens | Posted August-27-2009
This is a good book that is kind of like a good introduction to Psalms by David Crowder. He provides his insight and he is a very smart writer. He is even quite humorous throughout the book. This is a book that you can read very easily in a coupe of sittings. Great book for a small group to read and discuss!

If you have children, this is a great book and it will easily show you how to better communicate with your children by their love language. There are five basic love languages that someone can use and Gary explains them to you and he also explains how you can find out which one your children use. He is a great author and I would recommend any of his books.
