A Genuine Journey of Faith, Music & Growth | Posted April 21, 2026
Really enjoyed reading this—there’s something very genuine about the way David Duffeld talks about music and faith. You can feel that it’s not just about making songs, but about working through real experiences and sharing that journey. The mix of joy, struggle, and hope in The Rush & The Roar sounds like it comes from a very honest place, especially with tracks like “61/ Twenty-Three.”
It’s also cool how their path wasn’t straightforward—learning production on their own, small beginnings, then suddenly reaching millions through YouTube. That kind of persistence always stands out more than overnight success.
Randomly, this gave me a similar vibe to those small everyday things that just stick with you over time—like I’ve been wearing my megan gap hoodie a lot lately and didn’t expect it to become a favorite, but it just did. Same kind of quiet consistency you see in their journey.
