Like "aylaeh", at the time I bought this album, way back in 2003, I wasn't really into rap or hip-hop. I enjoyed the album then, but about half the songs sounded bland to me. I liked the more upbeat songs, but once you get to the middle ....

I personally loved it. The lyrics really seemed to come out and grab my intrest as I heard 'Apparitions of Melody' the first time.
Though it may have been the first time I've heard any music by this band, and I can't compare this cd ....

Not a "Yes You Have" in my opinion. That song made me like Leeland in the first place. "Sound of Melodies" was amazing as well along with "Tears of the Saints"...they were brilliant and its hard to follow up with. Its like Jars of Clay with ....
