Grace comes like a raging flood,
and it sweeps me out to seas of love.
Purging sin and filling scars
that have come from wandering in the dark.
How great the blood, that ran for sinful nature’s needs!
Has broke the curse, it lives, it speaks, it pleads.
And all who lean on faith and love,
will prove that death is swallowed up.
And still my Lord he walks amidst,
and he beckons us to purest bliss.
To feel the freedom of thy bonds,
and to walk on earth as Sons of God.
Come life, come death, come pain, come trial.
I have no fear of earthly wiles.
For Christ though thorns and scourging died,
now risen walks His hands in mine.
