How great's the love lavished on us
That we should be called children of God
So great the love poured out for us
Now we can call You Father
And oh, what a perfect love
It casts out fear, what a perfect love
And oh, what a perfect love
It draws me near, what a perfect love
And oh, what a perfect love
It casts out fear, what a perfect love
And oh, what a perfect love
It draws me near, what a perfect love
The love of Jesus
How great the love lavished on us
That we should be called children of God
So great the love poured out for us
Now we can call You Father
How great the love lavished on us
That we should be called a dwelling for God
So great the love poured out for us
Now we can know our Father
"Who then is the God that we worship? He is none but the Lord Himself. Who then is the God who's lavished His love upon us? He is none but the Lord Himself.
You, my God are supreme, upmost in goodness, mightiest, all-powerful, most merciful, most just. You, my God are supreme. You're most hidden from us, yet the most present amongst us, the most beautiful, yet the most strong. You're unchangeable, yet You change all things. You're never new, never old, and yet all things have life from You. You're the unseen power that brings decline on the cloud (?). You're the ever active, yet always at rest.
You gather all things to Yourself, that You suffer no need. You support, You fill, and You protect Your things. You create them, nourish them, and bring them to perfection. You seek to make them Your own, although You've lacked nothing. You love Your creatures, but with a gentle love.
You are my God, my life, my holy delight. But is this enough to say of You? Can any man say enough when he speaks of You? Yet we've been tight (?) by those who've been silent about You.
Or even those who are most gifted in speech cannot find words to describe You."
(You are Lord)
How great the love lavished on us (You are Lord, oh God)
That we should be alled children of God
So great the love poured out for us (You are Lord, You are Lord)
Now we can call You Father
We can know You Father
With all we are, with all we are
