"He will give His angels charge concerning you. They will support you with their hands...so that you will not strike your foot against a stone" Psalm 91.
The Bible says He has made a way for us to walk in the complete protection of God. I believe the only completely secure place to be in this world is under the shadow of the Almighty. David dwelt here saying and confessing to the Lord' "You are my refuge, my fortress, my God in whom I trust!"
I believe that when we pray and confess that the Angel of the Lord is around us we are doing spiritual warfare. He also gave us the Holy Spirit to warn us of danger. Psalm 103:20 says "His angels obey the voice of His word". Psalm 104:4 says "He makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flaming fire." There are myriads of His ministering spirits sent to minister to those who will inherit salvation!
The Lord's my shepherd, I have everything I need
Mercy and love follow me
Though I walk through the dark valley of death
I will not be afraid for He's here
The Lord's my refuge, no evil can come near me
Dwelling in His secret place
I put my trust in Him, He is my shield
I will let His peace rule in my heart
Surely the angel of the Lord is around me
I have no cause to fear, my God will not forsake me
I am my fathers child, no enemy can touch me
I will not die but live to tell what He has done
He ransomed me, He gave me all authority
Power, love and a sound mind
Strong in the Lord and the power of His might
I will put on His armour and stand
