You trade prophetic witness
For economy and prosperity
You have betrayed
Me with your kisses
When justice is in famine
And when righteousness is starved
You bow to the alters
Of mammon and monuments of mars
My eyes are filled with fire
In my hand I hold seven stars
You pledge allegiance to this land
But not My country from afar
You pound new nails into My hands
You’re ripping open up My scars
With My Name plastered
On your billboards and
The bumpers of your cars
On your bios, city halls
And on your paper currency
But you really trust
In bombs and barriers
For your comfort and security
